Without Andre I wouldn’t have a prayer of a chance of saving her.

Madison works her jaw from side to side, like she’s thinking something over. “You should get him to give you the rest.”

Madison doesn’t know about the offer Andre made me. Honestly I don’t know much about the offer, but I do know that Andre wouldn’t want anyone else to know about it, so I keep my mouth shut and pretend that this is the first time I’ve considered the possibility. “For what?” I snort out a little laugh. “I don’t think he’ll pay me to strip for him.”

Madison’s lips lift in a slow smile. “I bet he would.” She wiggles her brows at me. “He definitely wants something from you.”

She’s not wrong, but a private dance isn’t what he’s looking for.

He wants something public.

Something that will make people believe we’re together.

That I genuinely like him and he genuinely likes me.

I chew my lower lip as an idea begins to form.

One that might be exactly what Andre wants.

And if Andre’s getting what he wants from me, then I’m going to make sure I get what I want from him.

I sit up straighter, feeling a little more in control of the fate I’m trying to twist. “I need to borrow another dress.”
