Gasps flow through the room as Quinn steps out of the changing room of the bridal suite. Her wedding dress is all lace and looks like something a classic movie star would wear. Its see-through lace sleeves and scoop neckline make her look elegant and flirty while the long train gives her a royal look. It’s everything I could imagine for her.

“You look beautiful!” Megan says, and we all voice our agreements because she’s glowing right now. All of the girls are gathered in the suite to help Quinn get ready. She and Cooper decided to keep their wedding party small and only asked Hailey and Levi to stand up for them instead of the whole group.

I can’t say that I blame them. There’s a lot of us.

“You think Cooper will be happy?” she asks as she turns from side to side, checking her dress in the tri-fold mirror.

“You’re going to bring him to his knees. I swear,” I tell her.

Quinn’s stylist helps her clip the veil in and, along with the lace trim, it completes the outfit.

“I can’t believe it’s finally happening, you guys,” Quinn says. Her smile couldn’t get any wider as she turns back around to face us.

“You deserve every happiness today, Quinn. You and Cooper went through the wringer together, so relish in this amazing day and the love you guys have,” Lucy says, grabbing Quinn’s hand.

“Stop it! No more mushy stuff or I’m going to cry and ruin all of Becca’s hard work on my face,” Quinn says with a watery laugh and swipes under her eyes. A chorus of sniffles filters through the room as we attempt to stifle our tears.

“Natalie, can you take this to Cooper for me? I forgot to leave it for him at home. Can you also double check they’re all ready? It’s about time to start.”

Quinn hands over a silver-wrapped box, and after I take it, I head to the room where the guys are getting ready.

I rap on the door and quickly say, “Knock, knock. Lady coming in. Please have all important parts covered.”

I crack open the door and take in the sight of a room full of handsome men, all in suits. My eyes find Tucker’s and he winks at me, making me grin.

“I was asked to give this to the handsome groom,” I say to Cooper, who’s looking very dapper in his black tux.

“I have something for you to give to my wife-to-be if you don’t mind,” he says, swapping me boxes. “How’s she holding up?”

“She’s great and looks perfect. You better be ready for it.”

“I’m never prepared for how beautiful she is, no matter what we’re doing.”

“God, swoon.” I put my hand on my forehead and pretend to faint, making Cooper laugh.

“You guys ready? It’s about time to start,” I ask Levi and Cooper.

They both nod at me, and I quickly give Tucker a kiss. “See you later, handsome.”

I walk out of the room and head back up to the bridal suite. The girls all have glasses of champagne in hand, and they hand one to me when I get into the room.

“This is for you from your dapper-looking husband-to-be.” I hand Quinn the box from Cooper.

She quickly unwraps it and gasps.

“What is it?” Sara asks.

“It’s the pearl necklace my grandmother used to wear.” Tears form in Quinn’s eyes. “How did he get this?” she whispers.

“From me,” Quinn’s mom, Denise, says as she walks into the room. Her blush pink gown highlights her silver hair. “I gave them to Cooper after the incident and asked him to give them to you when the time was right. He couldn’t have chosen a more perfect time.”

Denise comes in and grabs Quinn’s hand. “You’re beautiful, Quinn, and I’m so proud of you.” Quinn and her mom haven’t always had the best relationship, so watching this moment between them hits me in all of the feels.

It seems I’m not the only one because all of the girls are sniffling and dabbing at their eyes.

“Everyone ready? It’s time!” Quinn’s wedding planner says, peeking her head into the room. “Dad’s waiting out here for you, Quinn.”
