I held out my left hand.

“You gone answer?” Morris said.

“YES! I already told you it didn’t matter what you asked. I love you!”

“I love you too even though you make romantic gestures so hard,” Morris chuckled as he placed the ring on my finger.

The End

Epilogue

I’d been traveling for a week and had just arrived back home a day before our wedding. Cam and the girls had been working hard planning the wedding. My married male friends told me to stay quiet and do as I was told. I took their advice and wedding planning had gone well for me.

I kept all of my appointments; tuxedo fittings, cake tasting, and honeymoon planning. As long as I said “yes, baby”, things were great. I missed my girls, but I wouldn’t see them until they walked down the aisle.

I stood in the mirror, adjusting my white bowtie. Cam and I wore white, but the rest of the bridal party wore coral and blue.

“Cam is on the phone,” Drew said after passing me his phone.

“Hey, baby, is everything okay?”

“Yes, I miss you so much,” Cam said.

“I miss you too. We only have another hour or so, right?”

“Yes, did you have fun with your friends last night?” she asked.

“I did. Do you want details?”

My brothers, friends, and I had a private bachelor party last night. It didn’t get out of hand, but we did have a great time.

“Nope, keep your little stripper fun to your…hold on…” she said quickly.

I heard the phone drop.

“Cam?” I called out. “Cam!”

“Moe,” Tweet said.

“What’s going on?”

“Cam is throwing up,” Cam responded.

“Did she drink too much last night?”

“She didn’t drink at all…” Tweet answered.

“I’m coming to you,” I said and disconnected the call. “Where is my wife’s room?” I asked the wedding planner after stepping outside my dressing room.

“It’s on the other side of the building, but it’s bad luck to see…” she tried to say.

“Please show me to her room,” I interrupted.

I didn’t care about some silly superstition. If my wife was sick, I needed to check on her. After following the planner down the corridor to the far side of the building, she stopped at a door, knocked then stuck her head in.

“The groom wants to see the bride,” the planner said. I tried to look over her to see what was going on.

“Baby, I’m okay,” I heard Cam say through the door.
