“There’s no need to be so grumpy, pretty boy,” she says, rolling her eyes at him. “We are at a party after all.”

She winks at him before spinning around and striding further into the house. I move to catch up to her as the guys all go in search of their fathers, placing my hand on her lower back once I reach her to guide her in the direction of the room we are going to be using.

Once we reach the other end of the room we stop for a moment so I can make sure no one is watching us too closely. As soon as I’m satisfied I guide her through the door and into the hall, leading us closer to our destination.

Kenzi’s head moves from side to side as we go through the hallway, taking in the art on the walls, statues on ornate black marble plinths in between each one.

“Who the fuck has this much priceless art in one hallway?” She asks, shaking her head. “I mean, what if something were to happen to any of it? If one of these statues were to be accidentally bumped,” she knocks into the last statue as we pass it. It wobbles a few times before crashing to the floor, shattering into pieces on impact and she giggles. “Poof, all gone.”

“What the fuck, Kenz? Smashing Monroe’s shit isnotpart of the plan. What if one of the guards had heard it?” I snarl as I pull her round the corner and out of sight.

“I'm just having a bit of fun, Clay. You need to chill out a bit. You’ll end up giving yourself a heart attack or something,” she says with a shrug.

We continue winding our way through the hallways, nearing the back of the house and the room we’ll all be leading our fathers too. When we near the end of the last turn I stop as I hear a voice, becoming louder as they come closer towards us.

I spin towards Kenzi, lifting her and pushing her against the wall. Her legs wrap around my waist as my hand grips her hair, my lips crashing against hers just seconds before whoever it is turns the corner.

She lets out a gasp as our teeth clash, my tongue pushing into her mouth and tangling with hers in the most perfect way as she moans and rocks herself against me.

“Hey, you’re not supposed to be back here,” He calls out as walking towards us.

I don’t want to pull my mouth away from hers now that I have her here, but I lift my head, pushing Kenzi’s face down into my neck to hide her. She growls low, the sound vibrating through my body as she bites down on the flesh between my neck and shoulder.

“I should be asking you the same thing. All the guards are supposed to be working the party tonight, not slacking off in a deserted part of the house and then interrupting me when I’m trying to fuck my woman.” I snarl at the guard as I lift my mask above my face.

“M-Mr. Maguire. I-I’m so sorry sir,” He stutters as he realises who I am. “I’ll get right back to the party, sir.”

I watch as he scurries off towards the party in the direction we came from, disappearing as he turns the corner at the end of the hall, before turning my attention back to the woman in my arms.

I drop my head to her neck trailing kisses up the column of her throat until I reach her ear.

“You can put me down now, Clay. I don’t think he’s going to be back anytime soon.”

“We will be continuing this, Tink,” I say as I push my hips forward, grinding into her to emphasise my point as a breathy moan leaves her. “But right now we’ve got a job to do.”

I lift my head watching as she takes a deep breath before shaking her head as she opens her eyes, her gaze locking with mine as her legs drop from around my waist. I lower her down the front of my body wanting to feel her against me for a moment longer, keeping our eyes locked until her feet are on the ground.

She spins away from me to disappear round the corner like nothing happened. I groan as I adjust myself before going after her, catching up to her as she reaches the door. She throws the door open and walks straight into the room, taking a look around before reaching the desk, turning to lean herself against the edge.

“Alright, this will do,” she says with a nod. “Once your daddy is here, you’ll stand watch outside the closed door until I come out. Then you’ll take him out the back, get him to mine and wait for the rest of us. This part really shouldn’t take that long.”

I look up at the large clock on the wall, the hands telling me we’ve already been here for fifteen minutes, but that still leaves more than enough time to get all four of them out of here before Price turns up. I look towards her and nod before leaving the room, closing the door behind me and heading back to the party in search of my dad.

It doesn’t take me long to find him among the hundreds of people here, not when he’s where he always is at these things. Propping up the bar with a glass of brandy chatting up any young woman that may make the mistake of wandering too close.

I sneer as I make towards him, watching as he tries to charm the woman that has just walked up to the bar. She looks uncomfortable at the attention, looking relieved when she sees me walking up behind him. I fix a smile on my face, patting him on the shoulder as I come to stand in between them.

“Dad,” I say as I turn to him, completely dismissing the woman and giving her a reason to leave.

“Clayton,” he says, flicking his glance to the retreating woman before turning his gaze back to me. “Are you enjoying the party, son?”

“I am, but I wanted to talk to you about something before your meeting. It won’t take long,” I tell him when he looks down at his watch.

He downs the amber liquid in his glass before slamming it down and pushing away from the bar.

“Come on then, let’s find somewhere a little more private, shall we?”

I lead him through the room the way I came, heading for the hallway, neither of us speaking until the sounds of the party start to die down.
