They brainstormed other ideas, trying variations of both names, but still came up short.

“What’s his business?” Damon asked. “Could be listed under that.”

Maya shrugged. “He didn’t say.”

They searched until the food came, still not finding anything.

“Could he have put it under one of the kids’ names?” Maya asked.

“I don’t think that would be legal,” Ari said. “They would have to be eighteen, as far as I know.”

“Might be a parent or sibling,” Damon said. “He could be using someone else’s property.”

Ariana frowned. “We have a lot of digging to do.”

“We should probably tell the detectives,” Maya said. “They were really interested when I told them about Olivia.”

Ari nodded. “Although they won’t be happy that we followed him on our own. Rojas likes to lecture about that sort of thing. Not that it’s stopped me.”

“Or me. I’ve been looking on my own up until this point. I’m not giving up until I find my sister.”

Damon swallowed the last of his eggs. “Neither will we.”
