“You’d be surprised.” Ari called Damon and quickly updated him, then asked if he’d found the address of Ryan’s property.
“There isn’t record of anything under his name. He—”
“Nothing?” she exclaimed. “There has to be something. He has Maya now!”
“I did find something.”
“Spit it out!”
“Where am I going?” Rita asked.
“The freeway. North.”
“What?” Damon said.
“We’re heading over. What did you find?”
“Ryan oversees a bunch of properties. It’s complicated and hiding behind an LLC, but between Charles and me, it’s all starting to come together.”
“Do any of those properties happen to be where we were last night?”
“There are three out that way.”
“Three?”
“I’ll let you know as soon as I know more. I need to focus on this.”
Her head swam as she tried to make sense of it.
Ryan potentially had three places he could be taking Maya.
Three locations that he could be heading toward right now.
Or where he might already be holding others captive.
