Wine Me Up

When my last boyfriend decided to cheat on me with my roommate, my new goal was to be hotter than any other woman out there. No way would I be put in the back seat to some tramp with big boobs and zero morale ever again!

Since the breakup I have managed to lose another ten pounds. This makes me slender, but still curvy enough to display my female attributes. My hair went from shoulder-length red locks to voluptuous waves extending down to the middle of my back. Not only did I concentrate on my hair, but one Saturday afternoon I booked an appointment with a makeup artist at one of the local high-end boutiques. She taught me how to accentuate my eyes, lips, and cheekbones. She also taught me that a little makeup goes so much further rather than caking it on.

My appearance went from what was considered not worth mentioning to now being stunning and turning men's heads.

The fact that men do stare at me now is very appealing, but for the most part I shrug it off and keep my focus on how I carry myself. From what I have been told, that is the biggest attractant over physical looks.

It is difficult for me to engage with so many men who display interest in me. Many of them are not my type. I prefer men who are physically in shape and attractive, but like men, I find how guys carry themselves is the main attraction for me. You know, the gym rats who have veins bulging out of their muscles and walk like they have a corn cob stuck up their ass? That is not my thing!

Eric has a way with how he carries himself. His demeanor is so gallant and when he smiles it nearly makes me melt. Those shiny white teeth that display from his confident lips pique my interest and truly makes me want to stare at him all of the time.

Oh, how I wish I could get the thoughts out of my mind of him and what I would love to enjoy with him. His sister would murder me if she even had a clue of my X-rated thoughts; not to mention she would have him castrated.

Jenna has an underlying power that would scare the devil himself. She has developed this trait somewhere between high school and getting married. Maybe her husband Michael brings it out in her.

Either way I do not want to piss her off. With not having many friends, Jenna is a good friend, and those are hard to come by anymore.

This is what I tell myself as I prepare to bring a bottle of wine to Eric to welcome him to the building

After selecting a nice bottle of merlot at the liquor store, I take home the bottle and put it in a wine bag with a note, "Eric, welcome to the building. Enjoy the wine! Sincerely, Aria."

To look my best for the wine delivery to Eric, I spruce up my hair and makeup and change into a pair of tight yoga pants with a tank top. I don't want Eric ever to see me how he did back in high school. Yoga pants seem to really show off my round and full tush and that is what I want him to really focus on.

Knocking on Eric's door with the wine and note in hand he answers right away. Almost as if he was expecting me.

Eric's door opens and he smiles. "Hey Aria, what's up?"

"Hey, I wanted to bring you a little something to welcome you to the building. You know, being neighborly and all."

"That is really nice of you! Thank you so much." Eric takes the bottle in his hand.

"My pleasure," I say, smiling. "I hope you like merlot."

"I love merlot. Why don't you come in and drink it with me?"

"Oh, I would love to but..."

Eric interrupts me. "But? You have a hot date or something?"

"Ha-ha, no. No hot date. I have some things I need to get done."

"Like what? What could possibly take priority over a nice glass of red wine with an old friend?"

"I need to clean my bathroom and empty my dishwasher," I let him know, keeping a straight face.

"Hmmm, that sounds like a pretty boring evening to me. I think you should join me."

"Thank you, Eric but I can't tonight. Maybe another time?"

"Sure. Have fun with your bathroom and dishwasher," Eric laughs.

"Ha, thanks. Enjoy the wine."

Eric closes his door and I continue back to my apartment. Upon entering, I walk over to my couch and plop my rear down on it, "What the hell, Aria? You should have just said yes."
