“Is Max going to be here today?” Willow asked.

“No. He’s going to be with his grandmother today,” she said.

They all turned when they heard laughter to see Rose walking in with Thomas. It only took a second for her to see the shirts they had on. T-shirts with writing that she’d never thought she’d see Thomas Klein wearing.

Until she read, “She said yes,” then saw the one on Rose that said, “He said yes.”

“Oh my God,” Poppy squealed. “Did you get engaged?”

Poppy and Lily were rushing Rose and the three girls were jumping up and down in a circle and laughing. What she wouldn’t give to feel the way the three of them did.

Zara was excited for Rose and she knew if she rushed her like that, they’d accept it without thought, but this was for the three of them.

“Thomas and I proposed to each other,” Rose said. “No ring.”

“Of course, he wouldn’t give you a ring,” Reese said. “You have to make your own. He’d know that.”

“I did know that,” Thomas said. “She’s got a pretty nice loose diamond, if I do say so myself, and she is going to get started on that ring ASAP so that we get it on her finger for everyone to see. I’m not wearing this shirt everywhere.”

Zara laughed. “Who bought the shirts?”

“I did,” Thomas said. “I knew Rose would want to ask me too. It was a calculated guess and it worked.”

“That’s what happens when you are perfect for each other,” Rose said. “I can’t believe we are all engaged or married. How did this all happen so fast for us?”

“When it’s right,” Liz said, “it’s right.”

Zara’s mother was looking at her when she said that.

“Things will happen on their own time,” she said.

“Well,” Zane said. “This kind of sucks.”

“What?” she asked.

“Lily and I had something for everyone too and now I feel bad,” Zane said, smirking.

“Are you pregnant?” Zara asked her sister-in-law. She’d noticed that Lily had a glass of wine last night yet she’d never seen her pick it up and sip out of it. Her sister-in-law was sneaky enough to be pouring it out when no one was looking.

She wasn’t even sure why she realized that. And thinking back, she didn’t think Lily had any wine on Thanksgiving either.

“Zane is handing out gifts for everyone. You have to open them all at the same time.”

There was excitement in the room and no one could sit still.

When everyone had their boxes they all ripped into them at once. Zara had a white T-shirt in front of her that had a small lily on it barely blooming with a baby wolf next to it and the word Aunt. Everyone’s was the same design only it said Aunt, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and Big Sister.

“Lily,” Poppy said, crying. “This is the best way to tell us. Oh my God. We should totally market this.”

There was laughter in the room over that. “Typical Poppy pimping products,” Reese said.

“I thought the same thing,” Lily said. “After I had them all here and looked them over. But, yes. There will be a new member of the household in early August.”

“I’m going to have a baby brother or sister,” Willow yelled and ran toward her father and Lily, hugging them both. “Can I name it?”

“No,” Zane said. “And it’s not getting a flower name.”

“No letter Z either,” her father said. “That was your mother’s thing. I’m not sure why, and man, was that hard for Zara.”
