Okay, so that might be a little over the top. Besides, he was way too protective of her now that she was carrying their baby. No way would he let her sleep outdoors with just a sleeping bag as protection.

“You know, I have a friend who has a rental cabin on the lake right here in Corbin,” she said with a smile.

“The one next to the Christmas Card Barn?” he asked.

She nodded. “I’m sure he can find some space for us over the next few months.”

“Weeks, if possible,” he said. “But that sounds perfect.”

They’d built quite a few cabins on the lake at Snowy Canyon Ranch, but the one nearest the Christmas Card Barn was pretty popular. It had a great view and was right next to the building where they’d shot the most popular of the four movies. Jessica might be a handful, but she drew an audience, which was why Rourke and Landon had put up with her, she supposed.

“I’ll have a talk with him tomorrow,” Landon said. “Meanwhile, I saw your sister’s movie is coming on next.”

Audrie’s eyes widened.The Christmas Reunionwas the movie shooting while Hope was hanging out on set. She turned toward the TV just in time to see an ad for the rerun of that very movie.

“What are we waiting for?” she asked Landon. “Let’s watch.”

“Settle in,” he said, gesturing toward the sofa. “I’ll go grab the popcorn.”

“Don’t take too long.” She smiled up at him. “You’ll miss the first scene.”

He’d been prepared to rush toward the kitchen, but her words stopped him. It wasn’t the words, exactly, but the love in her eyes as she looked at him. It was a feeling he never could have imagined. So, he went to her, leaned over, and gave her a sweet kiss before heading to the kitchen to get snacks for their movie night.
