Coach is cut off by Nattie, “SHUT. THE. FRONT. DOOR!”
“What is it this time, Natalie?” Coach sounds like his patience is running thin.
Nattie points at me. “She’s wearing Nana’s ring!”
Everyone turns to stare at me, but it’s the smile coming from Cooper that makes me smile back. Declan wraps one arm around me and one around Tommy. “What were we going to tell everyone tonight, Tommy?”
“Belles has been puking every day, but it’s okay because the babies are in there, making her sick. She’s gonna be fine.”
Declan’s hand covers Tommy’s mouth as I scream, “NO!”
“SHUT. THE. FRONT. DOOR,” comes from a shocked Coach.
Well, that wasn’t exactly what I had planned.
