I back away from the window and stand before she can protest, but not before I hear her groan.

“Lock your window,” I call as I work my way through the bushes that line her building. “I don’t want to have to worry someone else will try and sneak into your room and have their way with you.”

“At least I’d get lucky tonight if that were the case,” she shouts after me.

“Rule number eight,” I holler over my shoulder, followed by, “Plus, I’ll make sure it’s worth the wait.”

“You better.”

My heart feels lighter as I make my way back to my car. I’m just about to open the door when I hear feet pounding against the pavement behind me. Turning toward the sound, I have just enough time to brace myself before Lex leaps into my arms, sealing her lips against mine.

My hands grip her ass while I turn and press her against my door, capturing her first moan with my mouth, the second echoing off the building around us. The third, mixing with my groan.

“Are you sure you can’t stay?” she asks.

“God, I want to,” I confess, thrusting against her warm center.

“Stay,” she pleads, her breaths coming out heavier.

“You need to study.” Thrust. “I don’t want to be a distraction.” Thrust. “I shouldn’t have come over in the first place.”

Thrust.

Thrust.

Thrust.

“Micah,” she moans into the side of my neck. “If you leave, I won’t be able to concentrate. All I’ll be able to think about is you, inside of me, between my legs, how much I want …”

Trapping her between my body and the car, I tilt her chin up so I can see the lust in her eyes. “And if I stay?”

“Just stay,” she begs. “Please.”

It’s a bad idea.

I’m giving her a reason to call me a distraction.

I’m risking everything for one more night with her. For one more kiss. One chance to hear her scream my name.

“As long as you promise to study.” I release her, enjoying the feel of her body as it slides down mine.

“I will. After I’ve taken care of this,” she retorts, reaching between us and pressing her palm against my throbbing cock.

“Your wish is my command,” I say, pressing the lock button on my key fob.

Lex leads the way back to her open window, crawling in first.

“Did you climb out your window?” I ask as my feet land on the carpet in the shared space between the bedrooms.

“No. I left it open so we could get back in that way.”

“What if I’d said no?” I challenge, taking a step toward her.

She counters with a step backward, her smile slowly growing when her back meets her closed bedroom door.

“I knew you wouldn’t.” Reaching behind her, she twists the knob, pushing the door open and stepping inside.

“So sure of yourself,” I tease.
