I no longer dreadMonday mornings.

To me, they've become a fresh start. A new beginning.

And I get to see Julian.

He's always waiting for me outside our classroom, a coffee in each hand. I told him weeks ago he didn't have to bring me gifts, but he hasn't stopped.

Which is why I really like Wednesdays. We're calling it cheat day. Not that either of us are on a diet, but he knows I care about what I eat. Except on Wednesdays because he brings sweets and baked goods.

But if I had to pick a favorite day of the week, it would have to be Fridays. After work, Julian and I always go back to his place, watch movies, and cuddle on his couch. I fall asleep in his arms, and he carries me to bed. And on Saturday mornings, I wake up surrounded by the intoxicating scent that is all Julian.

"Good Morning, pretty girl," Julian mumbles in his half-awake state as he tightens his hold around me.

I'm tucked against his body, my back to his front, and I can feel just how happy he is that I'm here this morning. Not that he doesn't always appear to be happy to see me. But waking up like this, wrapped in his warmth, knowing in a few minutes he's going to make sure I'm just as happy as he is right now makes me smile.

I'm the luckiest girl in the world.

In just a few short weeks, I've gone from dismissing the notion of happily ever after, to living my very own fairy tale. At least that's what it feels like. And if given the choice of living in the happy bubble that's surrounding us or popping the bubble and facing the real world, I'd rather stay right here.

"We have to get moving. My mom is expecting us in a little over an hour," he reminds me.

In addition to dating and having fun the last few weeks, we've also been working hard on my thesis, and today’s the day I get to present my dishes to Julian's parents. I haven't worked with his father much, so I'm a little nervous, but Julian assured me he would love everything I came up with.

He loves my ideas.

He helped me strengthen some of my recipes.

And to show him how grateful I am for his help, I may have done something for him in return.

Julian’s in the shower, and I've spent the last ten minutes searching for my underwear only to find them on top of his dresser. He was trying to be funny and slingshot them across the room after removing them with his teeth.

It was kind of funny. And a little sexy.

Snagging them, I knock over the black bottle they are covering, sending the cap flying to the ground. After retrieving it, I pick up the bottle and am immediately inundated with the scent I've come to love so much.

Julian's cologne.

Bvlgari. Man in Black.

I spray the air, close my eyes, and inhale deep.

Then I hear the shower turn off. The curtain being pulled back. And I scramble to get rid of the scent wafting through the room.

Picking up a large white envelope that is sitting on the dresser next to the bottle, I fan the air quickly, replace everything to its rightful place, and step into my undies just as Julian opens the door to his bathroom.

"Your turn," he states as he walks up behind me, kissing the side of my neck before moving to open the top drawer. I watch in fascination as he drops his towel, steps into a fresh pair of boxer briefs, and then sprays his chest with one pump of cologne.

How is this man mine?

This can't be real.

"If you keep staring at me like that, we're never going to make lunch with Alexis and Micah."

Oh, yeah. We have a double date today. Lex and Micah are the only ones who know we're an item. Well, Brady knows, but he's been completely evasive since the first night I stayed here. I haven't seen him at all, and Julian says he's been gone a lot.

The man knows how to disappear. He's a damn magician.
