"Now that you know where he lives, what are you going to do?"

I hadn't thought that far ahead. Now that I have the information, I'm nervous.

"I don't know. Halloween is in a few weeks. I was thinking of just bumping into him at the Kappa party."

"But Max—"

"I don't give a shit what my brother says about it. He's not my boss."

"But, in a way, Max is his."

At every turn, it seems like Sierra has been dragging me down lately. Pointing out the bad to overshadow the good. And she's killing my buzz right now.

"What's your problem? You were thrilled when I told you I wanted to stand up to Max, and now you're bumming me out."

Cue dramatic eye roll.

I've learned that's her signature move when she wants to avoid talking about something. It should be followed up with an excuse to leave the room. She won't return for hours.

I watch as Sierra grabs her purse and does exactly as I predict. Only this time, I notice she accidentally leaves her phone behind which means she won't be gone long. She lives and dies by her phone.

Twenty minutes later, when she hasn't returned, I give up waiting on her and shoot Lo a text.

ME: Are you having the girls over tonight?

Her reply is instant.

LO: It's Thirsty Thursday! You wanna join us?

ME: Yeah. I need to get out of here for a bit.

LO: Come on over whenever. Piper is working tonight, but Lex and K should be here anytime.

ME: Just need to change, and I'll be on my way.

A night gossiping with my sister and her friends is exactly what I need. Plus, I'm hoping they might have some advice for me. I've done the easy part. I found him. I have no idea what to do with the information.

Do I go to his dorm and confront him?

'Accidentally' run into him?

Wait until the Halloween party like I've already planned and see him there?

I mean, my costume is sexy as hell. I'm sure he's going to like it. I had him in mind when I ordered it.

I'm stepping out of my dress when I hear the door open. It took her longer than I expected to return. "You forgot your phone."

"I brought you a gift," is all she says as I spot her snag her phone off her night table out of the corner of my eye. Seconds later, I hear the door close. Wondering what she got me, I reach for my shirt and pull it over my head. I'm stepping into my jeans when his voice stops me.

"Don't cover up on my account. I was enjoying the view."

Son of a bitch.

My legs get caught, and I go down, hard. Rolling to my back, I stare up at Leo as he extends his hand to help me up. Our eyes connect and for a second, I get lost. Remembering the first night we met. The way he devoured me with his eyes as he crossed the room.

Mostly, I remember the way his fingers felt as they traced the curve of my back. The fire his touch lit inside me.

The very reason I sought him out in the first place.
