"We are. At this dinner Julian is hosting, I guess. Promise the guys will have my back?"

Nodding, I keep my eyes focused on my coffee for a few more beats before letting out a sigh. This is real. We're going to tell Max. I know he's going to be irate—probably more so since we've been lying to him—and I don't see a way to soften the blow.

"We have a few weeks. You never know, we might find out we don't like each other that much, and then we don't have to worry about it at all." I let out a forced laugh, the sound getting caught in my throat when Leo's hand lands on my thigh.

"Or we could find out exactly how much we like each other." His hand begins massaging my leg, moving higher, the hem of my dress lifting. When he reaches the juncture of my thighs, I uncross my legs and he takes the opportunity to slip his hand under my dress.

"Leo," I warn.

We've been in this situation twice in the last week. I still haven't confessed I'm a virgin. The timing hasn't been right. Plus, would it really matter to him? I doubt he is. He sure as hell doesn't kiss like he has no idea what he's doing.

"Angel, we need to get out of here. I want some alone time with you before shit hits the fan." His tongue darts out, licking my neck as he whispers in my ear, his hand still massaging my thigh but not moving any closer to where I crave him most.

"Where can we go?" I purr, my eyes closing when he nibbles on my earlobe.

"Anywhere you want."

"I mean, to be alone."

"Is Sierra in town?" Damn it. Yes. She was gone last weekend. I should have taken advantage of the time alone, but we weren't there yet.

"Yeah. Craig?"

"I swear he never leaves. It's like he's purposely being a cock block."

Giggling at Leo's choice of words, I move my hand to his thigh and mimic his actions.

"Careful, angel. I only have so much willpower, and I'm quite sure the first time I get you off, you don't want it to be in this cafe with people watching."

I heed his warning, removing my hand. He does the same, standing and pulling me into his arms. After a quick kiss to my temple, Leo leads us out of the cafe and down the sidewalk toward his car.

"We don't have many options," he says as he buckles himself in.

We really don't. There's nowhere to hide from my brother. We can't really go back to campus together. And after Brady's warning…

"Brady's place."

"What?"

"Brady's place. Max would never look for me there. As long as Julian's not home, we would be alone. I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

Digging through my purse for my phone, I'm pulling up my text thread with Brady when Leo reaches out and takes my phone from me, tossing it into a cup holder.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm not having sex with you for the first time in another man's bed."

Oh!

My mouth forms into the shape as his words consume me.

Sex.

We're going to have sex.

I should be freaking out, right? Nervous. Scared.

This is what I want. To lose my virginity. To give it to Leo. But why am I not even the slightest bit unhinged by his words. I should be, shouldn't I? This is a major event in my life. A huge step in our relationship.
