Jeans.T-shirts. Polos.

That's all I've ever seen Leo wear. Which is why I'm shocked when I open Brady's door and find him standing there in black dress pants, a crisp white button-down shirt, and a blue tie. One that matches the color of my eyes.

When he said to wear a nice dress, I knew exactly which one to pick. It's a little formal, but it's my favorite. It's snug in all the right places, dips low in the back— something I know is going to drive Leo crazy—and accentuates some of my best features. Lo helped me pick it out a few years ago for Homecoming. I haven't worn it since. When I packed for college, I brought it even though closet space was limited. I didn't think I'd wear it, but I wanted it just in case something came up.

Like tonight.

Which is why I chose it even though I thought I would be overdressed. I mean, the plan was for him to remove it. With his teeth according to Leo. I wasn't planning on wearing it all night. And I sure as hell didn't expect him to pick me up wearing a tie.

"I thought I'd be overdressed," I state as Leo pulls away from the curb.

"You could have worn sweatpants and I would still be taking you to dinner."

Giggling, I turn to face him the best I can. "When have you ever seen me wear sweatpants?"

"Never."

"It's because I don't own any. I have a few pairs of yoga pants, two pairs of jeans, and everything else in my closet is a casual dress or skirts."

"You should really invest in some sweats. They're comfy."

"So are my dresses. Plus, I like looking nice, even if it's just for class. It forces me to get out of bed in the morning, to do something with myself."

Leo's smile grows as he stares straight ahead.

"What?"

"Nothing." But I'm not buying it. There's a giant smile plastered on his face, and he's not even trying to hide it.

"Tell me."

Letting out a chuckle, he finally says, "I can't wait to see what you look like in the morning. Before you put your makeup on. Before you brush your hair. I want to see the side of you no one else has."

No one else has.

Does he know?

Did Brady tell him? Is it that obvious?

I open my mouth to ask, to confirm my suspicions, but the words won't come out. And before I have a chance to find a way to get over my fears of telling him the truth, we're pulling up in front of the restaurant.

On autopilot, Leo and I walk inside, hand in hand. We're led to a booth in the back corner. He waits for me to sit before sliding in next to me, sharing the same side of the booth. The tables are covered in a soft cream-colored linen and adorned with a cute wrought iron lantern, a candle burning brightly inside.

"You okay?" Leo asks as we wait for the waitress to bring our waters.

"Yeah. Fine." I can hear the lie in my tone.

"Angel." His voice is soft as he places a hand on my bare thigh.

"I'm just ... I don't know."

Nervous.

It's like all week I've been fine, and now every feeling I should have had up until this point is smacking me across the face at once. And I know exactly why. Because I wasn't honest with him. I still haven't told him I'm a virgin.

My fear has nothing to do with the actual act. I'm ready to have sex. I'm afraid he'll turn me down when he learns the truth. That he won't want me anymore.
