Slowly pulling out of her tight heat, I never take my eyes off hers. Not even when I kneel between her legs, removing her thong. Or when my tongue flicks out, lapping up her juices. She maintains eye contact with me the entire time, even when I see the shift in her stare. The tension between us mounting as I slide two fingers inside her.

I bring her to release as I hear the front door open and close. Her mouth is open on a silent scream as footsteps sound down the hall, her eyes rolling into the back of her head as she comes on my fingers.

Neither of us say anything as we get ourselves cleaned up and redress. The hot chocolate has gone cold, but we both still drink it to pass the time. A little over an hour later, I creep into the living room to make sure the coast is clear. As soon as we're safely in the hall outside the apartment, Mya finally confirms what I've been dreading.

"You caught feelings, Brady. You know what that means."

"Dove, I—"

"We had an agreement."

And then she's gone, disappearing into the stairwell just as my apartment door opens behind me.

"What are you doing out here?" Julian asks.

"Nothing. I thought I heard something."

And for the first time, he doesn't call me out on my lie.
