RAVEN

The noisein the other room makes us jolt out of the ecstatic sensation and flick our eyes to the door.

“I thought you locked the door,” I whisper while he pulls out of me.

“I did,” he says quietly and calmly, wiping the bathroom floor with a paper towel.

He tosses it in the trash while sliding his cock into his pants and working his fly closed.

I collect my clothes and put them on.

“Wait here,” he says, buttoning up his shirt and leaving the neckline open.

Some of his buttons litter the floor.

He tucks his shirt in, runs his eyes through his hair, and checks his face and his attire before heading to the door.

In passing, he speaks again.

“I’ll see you tomorrow.”

I turn to stone.

Tomorrow??

I want to react, but there’s no time.

He walks away, exits the bathroom, and talks to someone in his office.

I finish putting my jacket on and touch my fly to make sure it’s fastened before I press my ear against the door.

My hackles rise.

He’s talking to his father. Their words are muffled, but even so, I can sense the tension in their voices.

Mostly Robert’s. Kai seems calmer.

He has a good reason to be.

I smile at the thought that he had me bent over the sink, the anxious bits no longer registering with me.

Still, something else bothers me right now.

Tomorrow??

Why would he see me tomorrow?

Does he have plans for tonight?

Did we just have a quickie because he can’t spend time with me this evening?

I wish I didn’t fret over this. I won’t. I don’t want to. There’s no point in doing it, anyway. Come to think of it, we’ll face a big question weeks from now.

What’s next?

Is there anything else?
