He withdrew and reentered, still cautious. She flinched slightly, but her smile grew to a grin, and her eyebrows arched high.
“Is that the best you can do, soldier?” She rested the back of her hand upon her forehead, feigning dismay.
He growled playfully, thrusting more forcefully. Her body clutched his. It was too much sensation for restraint, so he let the momentum build. She met him each time, and he thought he would lose his mind with pleasure. But no. Not until she reached her heights. He did not want to go it alone.
“Look at me.”
She opened her eyes. and he almost lost control at the sensual storm brewing in their depths.
“Come for me. Give me everything you have saved for me all these years. Come, my love. My fiery Cat. For me.” He adjusted himself so that he could reach between them, his thumb encouraging her to leap into the chasm.
She cried out in climax, lightning flashing through those jungle eyes. He held her gaze, stroking one more time, releasing his need, his pent-up emotions pouring into her. Into the woman he loved. Home at last.
