“No, I’m not running. I’m tired of running. I have to be honest with you, Jamie. Maybe you’ll be the one running.”
“You can tell me anything.”
“I can’t fall in love with you. I won’t. I can control it. I will never allow it. So I can’t give you more than we have.”
“You won’t be with anybody else?”
“No, I have no desire to be with anyone else. What about you?”
“No way. I love you Stella. I want nothing to do with any other woman. Can we go on dates? Or is that too much?”
“I’ll try. I’m giving you more Jamie. It just happens that this version of more is all that I can give. Is that enough?”
“It has to be. I can’t be without you, Stella. I will take everything I can get. So yes, it’s enough.”
“It won’t always be, Jamie. We both know that. What then?”
“It is right now. So let’s focus on now. We will worry about the future when it’s here.”
“Cross that bridge when we come to it?”
“Yes.”
I glanced at him with the most seductive look I could muster, “I have one question though.”
“What?” he asked
“Are you going to lie there all day or are you going to kiss me?” I said smiling.
Wrapping his hand around the back of my neck, he pulls me in for what I think is a kiss. Instead, he whispers in my ear.
“Stella, you’re so beautiful. Do you want me to kiss you?”
I squeak out a yes.
He whispers, “How bad?”
“Bad.”
“You love it when I kiss you, don’t you?”
“Jamie.”
“Tell me Stella.”
“Yes, I love it.”
“Has anybody ever kissed you the way I do?”
“Never.”
He groans in my ear. The feeling of his breath and his low, sultry voice in my ear make me instantly wet. I enjoy this Jamie the best. Dominant. I know what he’s about to do to me. I can’t get enough of it.
