“Fuck her,” I drawl walking into the garage. Drew is busy opening my sponsor boxes, asshole likes free shit even more than I do. I open the fridge and hand him a beer, looking at the label I grimace, fucker stocked it with zero percent drafts. “So, I just had a nice chat with that chick.” I try to sound like I don’t care, but fail miserably.

“What about?” he asks, holding the cold bottle against his forehead.

Taking my seat on a chair in the corner, I put my feet up against the workbench.

“I told her she shouldn’t stir shit up. Newsflash, she can handle her own.”

He takes a swig and winks at me. “She’s Jay’s daughter after all, and that’s rich coming from you,” he says, rolling his eyes.

I stare at my black Vans. “Fuck you,” I joke, waggling my eyebrows.

“You wish,” Drew counters, cracking his knuckles.

Picking at my shoe, I continue, “She’s kind of hot, isn’t she?”

“And you say I’m a manwhore,” he says, opening another box.

I snort, shaking my head. “Better give me a heads up when you plan to screw a guy against the workbench again,” I say flipping him off.

“You’re just jealous.”

“Fuck you, man. I get enough from those girls on tour,” I say, giving him a cool look.

“Yeah, STD’s,” Drew answers, pushing his tongue against his cheek.

“Damn, don’t make me laugh. I’m injured.”

He shakes his head. “Play nice, Hunt, you know how much Jay cares about his daughter,” he says, throwing me another beer I catch midair.

“This shit tastes like piss by the way,” I huff, knowing he’s right. “Why is she here, after what, five years?”

He raises a brow and I smile.

“You could just ask her, Hunt.”

Grinning, I take a slow swig from my bottle. I’m quiet for a moment, debating my next move. “And how long do you think she’s going to be here for?”

He slams his beer on the table giving me an eye roll that says, how the fuck do I know? “Why did you get into it with her? I saw the look you gave her before.”

I almost choke on my drink. “What look? And she slammed the door in my face,” I reply drily, feigning innocence.

“You know what I mean, you never go after a girl. Certainly not with a look that says, ‘Let me FUCK YOU. PLEASE FUCK MEEE.’” He drops to his knees on the floor, laughing his ass off.

I raise my eyes to the ceiling. “I’m gonna really punch you later on.”

Getting up, he slowly shakes his head. “Your come-hither stare.”

“Fuck you, I don’t have a come-hither stare. That’s fucking ga…”

He chuckles. “Gay? Lucky I am.”

I start to laugh. “Aw, man, don’t hurt me.” I clutch my ribs with both my hands.

“Admit it, Mister Lords of Dogtown extra,” he jokes, opening another box.

“That’s a compliment and I’ll take it,” I tell him, standing, strands of my hair fall in front of my eyes.
