Beaming from the pure love exuding between us, I nuzzled against his hand. “Would I be your Little girl?”

“Yes, Tiana.” Tanner moved away, kissing my hand before settling into his chair. “Spending time relaxing in a Little headspace will also ease your mind. I think you’d benefit from some stress-free time where all you have to do is enjoy the moment.”

“I’d really like to try it out. Thank you for giving me the opportunity, Daddy.”

“You’re welcome, little girl.”

A smile broadened across my face, and I wrote the remaining rules out with a happy song in my heart. It would take some time to get used to following Tanner and Dane’s rules, but I was willing to do my best. There was still the conversation to be had with Jesse, but the three of them loved me enough to keep me safe and protected. It was the best thing to ever happen to me.

Chapter 11

Tanner

It was nice to have the day off from work, and though I wished the circumstances were better, having Tiana at our home was a pleasant bonus. She seemed willing to follow the rules I’d laid out for her despite her outburst. No one fell in line from the jump and Dane still had times where he pushed back. I hoped her quiet acceptance earlier meant that she’d ease into the routine enough to relax. I texted Jesse, letting him know the outcome, though he wasn’t the slightest bit surprised. He mentioned having a more in-depth talk with Tiana, but he wanted her to get settled into her new routine before then. It was definitely a good move all around.

Glancing at the sudden movement from the corner of my eye, I saw Tiana leaning against the doorjamb. She had one hand above her head, touching the top of the door frame, with the other perched seductively on her hips. Her lips were pursed, but I couldn’t place a finger on her mood from this distance.

“What’s up, buttercup?”

She sauntered into the den, crossing to the couch. Tiana straddled either side of my thighs, sinking down until she was flush against me.

“Did you break a rule already, darling?”

“You wish.” Batting her eyelashes at me, she traced her pointer finger down my cheek, landing it at my throat.

“Careful with your tone, Tia. Tell me what’s on your mind.”

“Dane is booked solid in back-to-back meetings.” She kissed my cheek. “I had been hoping we could relax together.”

“We could sit in the hot tub for a while,” I offered, trying to gauge what she was hinting at without being a complete horn dog. Fantasizing about having her pouty lips wrapped around my cock after all these years sounded better than any other activity, but I didn’t want to push for it.

“I don’t have a bathing suit.” Tiana shrugged. “I’ve only got a few outfits to my name.” Her eyelids drooped at her confession. “I did fashion for a little while until things went sideways. When I was couch surfing, I didn’t want to take up much space.”

“Do you know your sizes, darling?”

“Yeah, of course, but I’m under lock and key out here.” She gave a curt laugh. “I can’t justify a shopping trip to your brother,” Tiana continued on. “Not that I have any money. I wouldn’t have made it home without my parents.”

“I didn’t ask if you had money.” Knowing she would not like my next statement, I tilted her chin up so she couldn’t hide from me. “We’ll pick out some clothes online, including some bathing suits. Nothing is delivered directly to the house, so it won’t breach any security measures.”

“I’m not a charity case.” Tiana attempted to pull away, but I wrapped my arm around her waist, keeping my hold. “I wouldn’t have even said anything until you mentioned the jacuzzi.”

“Write down your sizes and I’ll do it myself.”

“You want to pick out my clothes?” She shook her head, knocking a few strands loose from the messy bun piled on her head. “All the way down to my panties?”

“I’ll start there.”

Tiana huffed, a battle seemingly waged between the part of her wanting to give in and the other part of her wanting to flee. It was something I hoped my rules and expectations would allow her to work through. She could stay and handle a situation without resorting to pushing the self-destruct button or other potentially dangerous course.

“I’m not letting you spend money on me, Tanner.”

“Clothing falls under your basic needs, your health and well-being. Those things group into the bigger umbrella of your safety.” I kissed her temple. “Write down your measurements in my notebook.”

“No way. You have already done enough by offering your home.”

“Okay, I’ll find a measuring tape and get the numbers I need.”

“Pfft.” She rolled her eyes, but didn’t move. “You’re not going to do that.”
