“You’re a rare kind.”

I didn’t question him.

We left the dining room when we were done eating. We walked side by side upstairs, to our rooms. I was trying to get Tristan’s attention as he typed away with one hand on his phone while the other hid in the pocket on his black joggers.

I thought of putting one leg out and watching him fall since he wasn’t looking anywhere else but his screen. He put his phone away like he knew what was coming. I groaned internally as we got off the flight of stairs.

“Good night,” I said with a short wave and turned to go to my room, but he was following me. “Did you forget the way to your room? It’s right there.” I pointed to his room.

He walked past me and entered my room.

“Tristan?” I rushed after him.

He was already on my bed when I entered the room. He tapped the space next to him with a small smile on his lips.

Saturday,I found myself sitting on a purple yoga mat with ten women around me, each with a baby bump. I was the only one with no baby bump. A few people had already given me thatare you supposed to be herelook.

I was in the middle of two women, who kept glancing at my stomach as we did what our yoga trainer instructed. I was enjoying it. Maybe it was because I wasn’t pregnant like the rest.

“Sorry, what trimester are you?” the lady to my left whispered.

“Um … first.”

“Oh,” they both said in unison, nodding their heads slowly.

“You’re so lucky. You should have seen me in my first trimester,” the one at my right said.

“Me too. Even at two months, the bump was already visible,” the lady behind me said.

I hadn’t even known she was listening.

My waist was achingby the time I got home. I went straight to bed, not bothering to shower—not like any of the exercises had made me sweat. I woke up to someone whispering my name and tickling me. I frowned at Tristan when I opened my eyes.

“What time is it?” I asked, looking outside. It was already dark.

“Almost nine. Are you okay?” he asked, running his fingers through my hair in a gentle and slow manner, like it was fragile.

“Yeah, just a minor waist pain.”

He pulled away, giving me theI told you solook.

“You slept with your shoes on,” he said as he untied the shoelace.

He removed the shoe and massaged my toes soothingly. I really needed that.

“I enjoyed it. Everyone was curious about my flat stomach,” I said with a wide smile. I’d felt like a celebrity today.

He scoffed and massaged my legs. I sighed in content. His large hands trailed up my thighs in a gentle massage and went up to the globe of my ass. I giggled and smirked at him.

“That feels good,” I moaned as he massaged my shoulders and down my arms.

His long fingers interlocked with mine.

“Were you a masseur your past life? Because your hands are gold,” I said as his fingers trailed up to my neck and caressed every angle delicately.

He laughed and said nothing.

He gripped my legs and pushed them apart, standing between my thighs.
