“Well, that was quite a show. Never seen Jim out of words like he was there,” Jake quips.
“Fuck, I have wanted to do that a few times. That will teach him to stop being such a slime ball,” Joel grunts as he leans down to pick up his haversack. “I swear, sometimes he can be a real dick.”
I know what an asshole Jim can be, and I usually don’t pay him any attention, but if he messes with my woman or my club, he will know my wrath.
“Shall we go do this?” Kevin asks as he walks towards the door, and Jake follows him as they make their way toward the stage.
“Yeah, let’s do this,” I say as I grab my guitar and follow them out. We need to make sure that we’re ready for tonight.

The rest of the day passes in a flash. The only part of it that I enjoyed was when Siena phoned me. Even though Goliath and Fang are making sure that the women are at the spa and safe, I still need to hear her voice.
I have never been the needy or clingy type, but Siena has me wanting to see and talk to her at every turn. I feel infatuated, like a young teenager. I want to get today over and done with so I can take her home to meet the others.
I know that our way of life is quite different from what Siena is used to, but I need her to see that it’s not all bad. That even though we have an animal side to us, we’re completely human in another. The show runs as expected, and then it’s time to do the private show. If I had known that I was going to meet my mate I would never have agreed to do it, but this is a favour, and it’s always good to have allies, especially allies like the Elementals MC.
“Have you seen Jim?” Joel asks as we enter the dressing room after the show.
“Nope, the last time I saw him was when Blue here decided to teach him who’s boss,” Kevin states, inclining his head towards me as he takes a seat on the couch. Stretching his legs out before him, he sighs as he relaxes.
Jake picks up his phone from where he left it before going to the show. “Must be sulking,” he answers distractedly as he scrolls through his messages. “Can I miss tonight? I have some stuff to sort out,” he suddenly says as he looks up at me.
The guys have all been great, following me on this tour just because I was running away from my own demons. I have been one lucky son of a bitch to have men like them working with me.
“I can do this one alone. Why don’t you guys go back to the hotel and chill?”
Joel opens his eyes, lifting his head from where he was leaning against his chair. Kevin also looks at me in surprise.
“You sure?” Joel asks with a raised brow.
“Yeah, I know these guys, and there is no need for all of us to be there.”
“Fuck, Dude, you don’t have to tell me twice. All I want to do is go to sleep. I’m getting too old for this shit,” Kevin murmurs as he sits forward.
“I’m thinking that after our last show we should take a long break from touring.” I see Jake frown at me, and I know what he’s thinking. “I know it’s my fault that we’re on this tour now, but I swear after our last show, I won’t be making anymore plans for us, unless you guys want to.” And even then, I’m not sure if I want to carry on with my music career.
Now, with Siena by my side, I want to concentrate on making her happy. I have more than enough money to live the rest of my life in comfort with my woman. I’m hoping to convince her to come live with me at the club, I know that it will be difficult because she has her sister and a job in Cape Town, but where there is a will, there is a way.
If she insists on staying here, then I will have to think of living here with her because there is no way that I can stay away from her now that I have found her. “After this tour, trust me when I say, that I won’t be in a hurry to get on the road again soon,” Joel states.
“Wait until Jim starts hounding you,” Jake grunts as he slides his phone into his jean’s back pocket. “You will give in just to not listen to him anymore.”
“I won’t,” I promise. “But I have to go. Just a couple more songs and then I’m done for the night.” If it wasn’t for giving my word, I would pull out of this and go meet my woman instead.
“See you guys next week,” I call as I walk out towards where I parked my bike.
When I enter the hotel, I see Frost walking towards me, his expression like a thundercloud. Not that his expression is usually better, but this time, I can tell that there is something bothering him. “What’s up, Brother?”
“If I see that son of a bitch, I’m going to kill him,” he growls.
I frown. Frost isn’t one to go on a rampage unless something really fucks with him.
“Who?”
He scowls and just shakes his head in anger before stepping around me to make his way outside.What the fuck is wrong with him?There isn’t anything I can do about it now, so I make my way towards the private lounge. I need to make sure that everything is ready for when Draco, the president of the Elementals MC, and his woman arrive.
