“He’s so cute!” I snuggle him against my chest. “Do you think Luna will like Fodor?”

“Fodor? Is that what you’re going to name him?”

I nod seriously. “It only makes sense.”

Dean shrugs. “I think he and Luna will be the best of friends. Why don’t we pay for this and head home? It’s getting late, and I did promise you some little time.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Dean pays for my stuffed Fodor, and we say our goodbyes and fervent thank you to Luna before heading out to the Harley. Dean gently tucks Fodor into one of the saddlebags before climbing on the bike.

The ride back to Dean’s house is significantly chillier, the sun dipping behind the mountains, dropping the temperature around us. I’m shivering by the time he pulls into the garage.

“Head inside, baby bat. Let’s get you warmed up.”

I stop walking, glancing at my feet as I dig my toe into a small crack in the concrete. “Um. Dean?”

Dean pauses, a few steps ahead of me. “What’s wrong?”

Nothing’s wrong, but I’m overwhelmed with emotion. Dean has taken me on the best date I’ve ever had in my life. Not only did he find something unique, but he considered my interests and hobbies. Combining it with a romantic ride on his Harley, he gave me the best of both our worlds.

We haven’t done this part-time dynamic for long, but after this? I find myself falling head over heels for this man.

Has anyone ever seen me the way he does?

Dean makes it so easy. I never have to second guess his intentions or worry if things are unbalanced between us. He constantly shows me how he fits into my life without asking me to sacrifice space for him. He’s been patient and understanding, caring and protective, willing to hold my hand when it’s tough, and here to celebrate my wins.

Why have I been so insistent this could never work?

Emotions rage inside me, threatening to burst straight out of my chest.

“Would-would it be okay if I stay the night?” I curse my inability to speak the words building in my throat. But I hope he can read between the lines.

“Of course.” Dean steps closer, cupping my face in his large hand to lift my gaze to his. He studies me for a long minute before saying, “I’d love nothing more than to have you in my bed. Should we run by your place to grab some of your clothes?”

My mind drifts to the overnight bag stashed in my trunk. “I may have a bag in my car.”

“Oh, sweetheart. What a smart cookie you are.” He holds his hand out. “Give me your keys, and I’ll grab your bag. I want you to head up to my bathroom. Let’s get you in the bath and warmed up. Then we can watch a movie.”

A relieved sigh escapes. “That sounds lovely.”

??????

Warm and toasty, I’m snuggled between Dean’s legs, back to his chest, watchingThe Addams Familymovie. Dean’s electric fireplace fills the room with warmth. After a quick bath, Dean dressed me in a pair of cotton pants and a matching shirt before carting me down here for a quiet evening together.

This has been a nice way to round out our date. A combination of adult and little mixed in during our time. Only further proving that Dean is the best Daddy in the world. Now and then, I feel the rumble of his body when he laughs at something on the screen. He occasionally presses a kiss to my temple and runs his fingers up and down my arms in a tender caress.

It’s distracting in all the best ways. The only downside is I’m unable to fully immerse myself in little space as we planned. Any other time, the bath and Daddy dressing me would get me there, the movie and my two stuffies on my lap taking me across that final mental block, but not tonight.

Adult thoughts—of the naughty variety—won’t let me drift away.

The more I picture Dean behind me now, or how I was pressed so close to him on the Harley all night, the more I struggle to concentrate on the movie. Not to mention the ongoing replays of the night Dean let me suck his cock.

My dick hardens, the thin cotton pants doing nothing to hide my predicament. I try to minimize my squirming as I adjust, but Dean misses nothing.

“Something on your mind, baby bat?” He lifts the remote to pause the movie, glancing at me.

Those dark eyes of his turn molten as his gaze lands between my legs. I’m not able to do anything but shiver under his intense stare.

“I think it’s time to go to bed,” I say, fighting to keep my voice steady.
