I lifted my head. “Niall?”
He grunted.
“Niall.” I waited for him to open his eyes. “Thank you.”
A small smile appeared, and my need grew. I reached up and placed a finger on his chin, turning his face toward mine and placing a gentle kiss on his lips. It was innocent. Sweet. Perfect.
“Fuck. Are you serious?”
I pulled away and opened my eyes to find Sai glaring at us with fire in his eyes.
He stormed off toward the front door.
“Sai!” I called, but he didn’t turn back.
Niall sighed and moved my legs to the side. “I’ll go talk to him.”
He pulled on his jacket and was out the door, leaving me alone and speechless.
How could a moment that felt so right also be so wrong?
I might have ruined everything.
