I love you too.

I opened my eyes with a wide smile on my face.

“You did it.” Emily winked.

That wasn't a question. I think everyone in the room could tell that I've been successful.

“Yeah, they're coming right now.”

“Amazing,” Kaden said, staring at me wide-eyed.

“I thought the most we’d ever be able to do was communicate through touch,” Niall said with a headshake.

“Sometimes, that's as advanced as bonds can get, but I can feel the strength coming off you guys. You’ll probably be able to do more than we can,” Joey noted.

“We’ll teach you as much as we know, and maybe one day you can meet a stronger bond,” Emily added.

Dustin interjected. “I have a theory that we set our own limitations, what we think is possible or what we can imagine. We learn what we need to, and we're content with that. But I sometimes wonder if we have the potential to do more or if others can, simply because their circumstances require it.”

I tightened my grip on Niall’s knee.We will need more.

We will have to do what others deemed impossible, he replied.

“Let's go over your abilities while we wait for Sai and Theo,” Emily suggested.

We told her each of our affinities, and I was shocked when my guys admitted to being hybrids. The revelation didn't surprise Dustin, Joey, or Emily.

“I knew I could sense more from you,” Joey said, “but you haven't told the Alpha?”

“We didn't know if it was safe,” I admitted, feeling a little guilty.

“That's completely understandable. Especially after your run in with the Council,” Emily replied.

How did she know? Was that common knowledge now?

“I think you're safe to tell the Alpha and the elders, but I understand keeping it from the rest of the pack. People fear what they don't understand,” Dustin suggested.

Kaden and Niall agreed.

Sooner than I expected, there was another knock at the door. Dustin let Sai and Theo in. They looked around with wide smiles as they took off their coats.

“Sai, Theo, this is Dustin, Emily, and Joey,” I introduced them before they crammed in with us on the couch.

“So nice to meet you all.” Sai leaned forward. “I’m already so grateful for what you’ve done. This is the coolest thing ever.”

“Yeah,” Theo nodded. “That will be so helpful.”

Emily laughed. “We haven’t even started. If you guys think that’s great, just wait until you see what else you can do.”

Theo rubbed his palms on his jeans. “I can’t wait. Our teachers told us we could unlock our potential as a bond, but we haven’t really done that yet. I didn’t know how to make it happen. I appreciate you guys being willing to teach us.”

Joey smiled. “Like we told your mates, another bond took the time to teach us, and this is our turn to pay it forward. Eventually, you guys will have the same opportunity.”

“I hope so.” Sai practically vibrated with excitement.

“All right.” Dustin rubbed his hands together. “Where do you want to get started?” Their eyes met, possibly talking telepathically. Then he nodded. “Have you guys tried acting as conduits?”

“I think you can safely assume that we haven’t tried much of anything,” Kaden mumbled, dropping his chin.
