“No, that makes perfect sense,” Emily said with a laugh. “It's hard to imagine what's possible if you stuck to the limitations of your own experience.”

“What's the worst thing each of us could do?” Saige asked. “I mean, most damaging. The most destructive, I guess.”

I grinned at her, liking where her mind was going. “Yeah, we want to be able to do that. What’s the best defense or offense or attack each of our abilities can do? We want to be able to do that.”

That seemed to perk up the guys.

“As shifters,” Dustin started, “we can grow and increase our speed when we share our powers. But for you guys,” he shared a look with his bond. “I think you'd be able to do far worse.”

Joey winked at Saige. “A vampire can increase their speed, becoming nearly invisible.”

Theo and I traded glances before he continued. Invisibility? Speed? Yeah, we wanted that.

“I think the worst damage or worst thing a Fire witch can do is start a fire from afar, perhaps without even having to see the location.” Dustin offered.

Theo held up his palm and looked at his skin. “I like that idea.”

“And Water?” Saige asked.

“Maybe being able to summon it from above or below and having it fill an area in a blink?” Dustin suggested.

I started grinning. “That could be a good defense against fire while being just as important as an attack.”

“Air?” Kaden asked.

“A tornado is an obvious answer,” Sai said with a wicked grin.

“For Earth, causing an earthquake, forcing the ground to open up, creating a crevasse as a border for protection.”

“Or a pit of death,” Sai suggested, and Saige’s eyes widened.

“I have a feeling, if you guys work together, you can make it all happen at once.” Joey sounded excited.

“That's a hell of an idea,” I said.

We laughed, talking with one another about what else we could do.

“Let’s start with one of you at a time,” Joey directed back in a circle. “Theo, let’s start with your fire since we have two Waters here as backup.”

Saige raised a brow.Ready for this?

Hopefully.I teased, and she grinned.

“Everyone, focus on your source and direct your power to Theo. If you need to hold hands, that’s fine.”

I did as he instructed, watching Theo as his eyes darted to each of us.

Can you feel who the power belongs to?

He nodded.I’m not sure how to describe it, but I can tell the difference between all of them.

Interesting. That was something I wanted to pay attention to later.

“Ready?” Dustin asked Theo, who nodded.

We hadn’t discussed a plan, so none of us was ready for an inferno to burst out of nowhere in the middle of our circle.

“Fuck!” I was impressed.
