Looking at Reaper, who nodded, I said, “Yes.”

“Well,” Player sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as he thought for a few minutes. “Okay, I have a place, but it’s going to be tricky. I’m gonna need my brother to go with me, though. Two’s better than one, right?”

“Fine. Get with Massacre and make the arrangements. Don’t tell anyone where you are going. Not even me. I don’t want to know. Keep your phones handy. Only use this chapter’s emergency code when texting. No names. No places. Nothing. Got it?”

“What’s going on Prez? Is Layla in danger?”

“We all are. Now go. I expect the three of you to be gone within the hour. Don’t tell anyone. Don’t text. Just leave. I will call when I know more.”

Saying nothing more, Player turned and hurried back up the stairs.

“Okay, that problem is taken care of,” Reaper sighed. “Now for this.”

I watched as Reaper handed the list to Ghost, who stiffened when he read the names. Looking at both of us, he asked, “Is this a joke?”

“No,” I clearly said. “Kitty wouldn’t put a name on that list if she didn’t have evidence to back it up.”

“And we’re just going to take her word for it?”

“The Vault hasn’t been wrong yet, Ghost,” Reaper said.

“What do you want me to do?”

“Get Shadow and Vicious to help you, but I want those two fuckers in the shed by nightfall. I don’t care how you get them there, but come sundown, I expect them there, and they better have fucking answers.”
