As we entered the factory, I noticed it was mostly empty. One of Harmon's henchmen, Troy motioned at me from the corner.

"Your father wants you. Follow me."

I nodded at Benny, a silent goodbye, as I followed Troy down the corridor. We were getting closer and closer to the room, my heart thudding painfully.

My suspicions were confirmed when we stopped outside the door. It was like a horrible sense of deja vu was happening as I stared at the closed door.

"What are you waiting for?" Troy mocked, pointing at the door. "Get in there."

I swallowed hard, knocking once on the door before shoving it open.

Memories and flashbacks filled my mind, but they were cut short as I spotted my father in the room with … Blair.

Panic flooded through me as I tried desperately to figure out the situation and what to do.

"Dad?" I asked, hesitantly stepping further in.

Something was off about this. Very, very off. And it wasn't just the fact that they had kidnapped Blair, but it was the way my father looked at me. His eyes were lit up with insanity.

"Levi! Have you met Miss Aalders? You went to school together, remember?"

Remember?

Time momentarily stood still as I realized.

He fucking knew.

Troy grabbed me from behind, pinning my arms back. I struggled against him, looking at my father.

"What the fuck, dad?"

Lucas walked over, slamming his hand on my shoulder painfully. "Miss Aalders just tried to cover for you. Sadly, that just provided the last confirmation we needed that you are working with her and the Spades."

My eyes shot to Blair's in a panic, before looking back at him. "I don't know what you are talking about."

The wind was knocked out of me as he swung his fist into my gut. I hunched over, groaning as pain shot through my body.

Troy dragged me backwards with someone else as they restrained me. I wanted to save her. No, I needed to save her.

As we moved down the corridor, I caught sight of Benny's panicked expression. I sent him a silent plea before I shoved into another room forcefully.

"Fuck!" I screamed, pounding on the door as it closed. "Let me out!"

I kept pounding, yelling Blair's name as hysteria threatened to consume me. I couldn't let her die. I couldn't go through this again.

Pacing the room, I tried to calm myself but it was no use. I was just about to throw myself into the door when it opened slowly.

"Bro, get out of here, now!" he whispered, his gaze looking up and down the corridor.

I hastily ran over, giving him a quick hug. "Benny, we have to get out of here."

He nodded in agreement. "Run, let's go."

We sprinted through the back corridor, away from the other members who were stationed in the main section of the factory. I was thankful that it was quiet. They were obviously so confident in their plan that they didn't need every entrance manned.

As we made it to the car, I threw the keys at Benny. "You drive! I need to contact Xanderson."

I thanked my lucky stars that Blair gave me their contact details at our last meeting. They wanted intel about the Hunters so I could contact Xanderson directly.
