She wrinkled her nose. “Yeah, I’ll need to figure out a system now that we have a baby on the way. But a wedding next week? Are we eloping? To where? I would never agree to Vegas. Plus, my dress won’t be ready so soon anyway.”

“Baby, we’d never elope. I know you want a big wedding.”

“Then you understand why it would be impossible to pull together my dream wedding in ten days.”

“I guess I don’t understand.”

She rolled her pretty blue eyes. “Oh, Will. You have no clue how this industry works. The venue alone has been booked for years.” She shook her head with an adorable expression like she humored me and my naiveté regarding the wedding business.

“What if I said I secured the venue for next Friday?” I grinned a cocky grin.

She popped up into a sitting position. “You secured The Hills Country Club?”

“I did.”

“How?” She was smiling now, a broad, full-of-teeth smile.

“Money talks, baby. We happen to have billions of it.”

Tears pooled in her eyes. “I… I don’t know what to say.”

I swiped a tear off her cheek. “Two weeks ago, when you said yes, the preparations for our wedding began. I wanted to surprise you. Are you surprised?”

“I am utterly shocked.” She wrapped her arm around my neck and kissed me wildly. “We’ll be married before the baby comes?”

“Isn’t that what you wanted? It’s what I want.”

“Yes, but I didn’t think it was possible.”

“Well, there are a few minor details that need your attention, like by tomorrow morning.”

“Just a few? Like what? How would you even begin to know what I want?” She hiked her perfectly manicured brow, a sassy curl played on her lips.

“Your Pinterest board titled My Dream Wedding, for one, and your personal file titled the same.”

“How did you see my Pinterest board? It’s private.”

“We hacked into your account.” I shrugged. “Axel is an exceptional hacker.”

Her brows shot up. “I can’t believe it.”

“Lily, Tessa, and my mother are hard at work putting it all together.”

“I’m blown away. So, what do you need me to do? Sounds like you’ve taken care of all of it.”

“I need your approval on the menu, cake, the flowers, and bridal bouquet.”

“Cake?” She shook her head with a look of uncertainty. “Are you sure you saw my files?”

“The cake is what I want so I can feed you a piece. You’ll have your pie, baby. All of them.” I kissed her head.

She burst into giggles. “You are an amazing man.”

“Does that mean you’ll marry me next Friday? I thought November was a perfect month to marry the woman of my dreams since it’s the same month we met. I just didn’t want it to be too close to your birthday.”

“It’s perfect. Yes, I’ll marry you!”
