“This is so good, baby.” Storm groaned as he chewed on a giant bite of a caramel roll.

I giggled. Storm said the same thing every time he tried something new at Sugar Bliss. He had a sweet tooth, though he’d never admit it, believing sweets made him a weak pussy. He could be so cocky and judgy sometimes.

Steph and Kim gawked at him while Tara couldn’t keep her eyes off Hero. He was sitting with Track in the booth behind ours. The same scene had played out each time I met up with the girls for our weekly breakfast. With all that was happening, Storm refused to go out without protection.

I couldn’t believe August had arrived. Storm and I were closer than ever. Although, neither of us had said the L-word. Anyone would have to be blind not to see that we were deeply in love.

“I know. It’s one of my favorites.” I wiped a bit of icing off his beard with a napkin. If we had been alone, I would have licked it off.

“We should take some back to the clubhouse for Sugar and the boys.” He wiggled his dark eyebrows. His eyes sparkled like platinum. This was the happiest I’d seen him, maybe ever.

“How long will she be staying at the clubhouse?” Tara asked in an annoyed tone. “She’s been there for a month. School will be starting in a few weeks.”

Oh, man. I didn’t want to have this conversation with everyone around.

Storm had made no bones about it. He wanted me to move in with him. I’d put it off because it was a huge deal and commitment. I’d already lived with a man, and it didn’t last. But then, Storm was nothing like Dane.

I lovedmy Kaleb. My stomach tightened as I stared at him. It happened regularly. I hadn’t gotten over the shock of Storm’s birth name being Kaleb. I thought it was a sick joke from God, but then I took it as a sign that despite his dangerous lifestyle, this outlaw biker was the man I was meant to be with.

“Indefinitely,” Storm replied with a full mouth.

“What?” Tara turned to me. “Is he screwing with me? Are you moving in with him for real? Even after what happened with Dane.”

Storm’s hand dropped onto the table, rattling the coffee cups and plates. I covered it with mine and brushed my thumb over it. Anytime I tried to calm or soothe Storm, it worked. I apparently had the magic touch, or so he’d told me at least a dozen times.

I flicked my gaze to Tara’s. “Let’s not do this here. I’ll swing by the house afterward, and we’ll talk.”

“As if it would do any good. You’ve already made your mind up. Haven’t you?”

All eyes were on me.Shit.

I had made my decision. I wanted to move in with Storm. No, I already had moved in.

In the beginning, I stayed with him because the club was on lockdown, and Storm wanted me safe. The Knights hadn’t fully contained the Hunters or driven them out of the area. Storm didn’t want me out of his sight. I knew it was about more than my safety. Neither of us wanted to be apart.

The numbers of Dirty Hunters were dwindling. Storm and his brothers had cracked down and weren’t being so nice about it. I didn’t know how they were handling things, nor did I want to.

“Yes. I’m moving in with him.”

“Well, this is just great!” Tara exclaimed, but it wasn’t with glee. The sarcasm in her tone and the bitter scowl on her face said otherwise. “I should’ve known this would happen after more and more of your closet emptied. Guess I was in denial.”

“I’ll still pay my portion of the rent and electricity.”

“No. I’ll pay it,” Storm cut in.

“I can’t let you pay my bills.” Holy crap! This man constantly surprised me.

“We’ll discuss it at home, Angel.” There was the unyielding tone I was familiar with. Storm wasn’t a total pushover or controlled by his dick as Sugar once said. When his mind was made up, it was impossible to change it. I sensed this was one of those times.

Tara snorted. “Home? You really want yourhometo be on a compound with dozens of greasy bikers?”

“Hey! Watch it,Roja,” Hero barked, getting to his feet. “You don’t know shit about us, but I’d be happy to give you the low down tonight.”

Tara rolled her eyes. “In your dreams,Hero. Like what kind of road name is that anyway?”

He cracked a cocky smile. “Tonight, I’ll show you what it means.”

These two bantered all the time. Hero wanted Tara. Storm had confirmed it, but Tara? She was a stubborn redhead. She might openly stare at Hero and drool, but she’d hated on Storm and his crew because he’d “stolen me away” from her—her words, not mine.
