“Storm…” she said in a come-hither voice against my lips, “I’ve missed you.”

“Fuck, Angel. I’ve missed you, too.” I softly kneaded her wet, luscious lips with mine.

“Then take me home.” She exhaled a lusty breath, fingers playing with the back of my neck.

I pulled back. A ravishing shade of desire veiled over her face. Fuck yeah.

“I’ll take you to the clubhouse.”

“No. I’m not ready to go there. Let’s go to my place.” She bit my bottom lip, sucking it into her mouth. I nearly messed my jeans on the spot.

“You sure?”

“Positive.”

I hesitated for a second, heart thrumming wildly against my ribs. If I went home with her, if we had sex, I’d never let her go.

Fuck it.

“Okay, baby. Drive me over to the side of the building where my bike is parked, and I’ll follow you home.”

Her eyes smiled as she lifted on her tiptoes and kissed me softly. It was just a quick kiss, but it held so much promise for what our night would bring.

We got into Madeline’s car, and she pulled it alongside the building. The fuckin’ smirk on Track’s face immediately set me off.

“Are they your friends? I mean, brothers.” Madeline peered around me.

“Eyes over here, baby.” I kissed her, unable to get enough of her but reluctantly broke away. “Yeah, my brothers. Gimme a minute to talk to them. Then I’ll follow you home.”

She smiled, a slight blush on her cheeks. “Okay.”

I pecked her lips then unfolded my large frame out of her little car. After shutting the door, I tapped the window. “Lock it.”

I winked when I heard the click.

“Hey lover boy,” Track razzed, not two seconds later. “That was some hot as fuck lovers quarrel. A real spitfire you got there, dontcha?”

“Fuck off.” I got on my bike. “I’m following her home. You two can head back to Bastion.”

Track’s smirky grin fell away. “Think that’s a good idea after a Hunter’s been seen on her street?”

“It’s not really a street. More like a single paved road flanked by two rows of mobile homes,” AJ said like he knew his shit. Good, it showed he’d paid attention. “But yeah, Prez. I agree with Track. It’s not safe if a Hunter shows up and sees your bike.”

I scratched my beard. I couldn’t have AJ hanging out all night after watching Madeline all day or have my road captain doing menial shit, either.

I cut my eyes to Track. “Call Copper. He can take the night shift.” Copper was two years older than AJ and about thirty pounds heavier, all muscle. He’d also been a prospect for more than a year. Moved up to bartending. He’d get patched, if the table voted him in, in a few months. I looked over at AJ. “Follow me and stay until your replacement arrives. Then I want you back by seven.”

“Okay, Prez.”

I gave Track a short nod and did the same to Madeline, letting her know I was ready. She bobbed her head and drove off.

Shit, what was I doing? One little heated argument, and I was on my knees, kissing her white western boots.

I was in deep shit.

But deep shit wasn’t enough to stop me from following her home. It would take a lot more to keep me away after she’d invited me back to her place.

No chance in hell would I pass up this opportunity.
