The music possessed me as it always did. I was lost in it, swirling my hips, skimming my hands up my torso and over my breasts, shimmying my shoulders. It was as if I was on stage again at Dirty Dick’s, only this time, I had my clothes on, and one irresistible biker had his gaze locked on me. He looked like he was about to come out of his skin.

I milked it, exaggerating my hip movements just to see Zander’s reaction.

The men in the room whistled and made noises like a crew of gorillas in the jungle. It was exhilarating to get a response like this and not have to be topless.

As the song came to an end, the ladies and I bowed.

Zander stormed forward, crossing the room in long strides. “You’ve been a naughty girl, Jay.” He swept me off my feet, threw me over his shoulder, and spanked my ass.

I yelped, utterly shocked he could so easily carry me and that he spanked me in front of all these people.

The roar of his MC brothers filled my ears.

What a crazy world I’d entered. I didn’t really care. Not at this very second anyway.

Zander went up the stairs to his bedroom.

“I thought you were taking me home?” I shouted as I cupped his firm ass.

“No time.” He fished his keys out of his pocket to unlock the door. “Keep playing with me like that, Jay, and I’ll torture you back.”

I giggled at his threat. “Hurry.”

He threw the door open and slammed it shut. “Fuck, you were sexy down there singing and dancing.” He put me on my feet and pressed me against the door. “What does it feel like to be the most gorgeous woman in the bar?”

The sincerity in his voice tore down my walls. Tears pooled in my eyes. He wasn’t fucking with me or dishing out a pickup line to get between my legs. He meant every word.

Our lips collided in a desperate kiss, teeth clashing, tongues twisting together. I tasted whiskey and smelled his seductive cologne.

Zander Quinn was the first man to ever make me feel valued. Beautiful and cared about.

I hoped I made him feel just as cared about and valued. I went to unbuckle his belt to show him how much he meant to me.

He stopped me. “No.”

“What’s wrong?”

He flicked the lights on, took me by the hand, and guided me toward his bed. “I want you to dance for me while taking your clothes off.”

“You’re joking.” My heart hammered in my chest. Strip? I was hoping to keep the lights off. Even though we’d been having sex, he hadn’t seen me fully naked.

“Not joking. What song do you want?” He pulled his cell phone from his back pocket.

“You’re serious.”

“Yes. What song?”

I trembled, unsure how I felt about this.

Since meeting Zander and seeing the thin women around here, my buried insecurities surfaced to the top. I’d stopped eating breakfast and dinner when Zander wasn’t around, faithfully did one hundred sit-ups and squats before my shower, and drank a gallon of water each day.

I’d only dropped three unnoticeable pounds. Probably water weight. It was aggravating to work so hard and get little results.

“Jay, what song?”

“I don’t want you to see me,” I told him honestly and dropped on my knees in front of him. “Let’s just have fun… with the lights off.”

He stared into my eyes, appearing confused. “Baby, give me a song to play.” He caressed my cheek. “You have nothing to be embarrassed about. You’re beautiful, Jay. Sexy. So damn gorgeous, I can’t resist you. But it’s what’s inside you I can’t live without.”
