“Dammit, woman. Don’t mention him.” I got busy fucking the life out of her. Pulling out and banging out of sheer determination to make her forget everything about that motherfucker.

“Sorry. But you’re incredible compared to him. He has nothing on you, baby.” She cradled my face in her hands, stroking my cheeks, eyes sparkling with emotion. “Kiss me.” She didn’t have to ask me twice.

Our bodies moved in perfect harmony as always. Same tempo and speed. Perfection.

The sound of the bed squeaking and the headboard banging against the wall all added to this moment. Add in the sound of our bodies slapping and Reign mewling; it all sent me over the edge.

“Fuck, Reign. I’m coming. Come with me,” I said through gritted teeth. My heart hammered against my ribs and sweat beaded on my forehead. When I blew, it would be epic.

She squeezed my dick with all her might. I felt her open, and a warm gush surrounded my dick.

“I love you,” I told her, my voice tight as I exploded.

“Love you too, badass Buff.”

We kissed through our releases, caressing each other. I wouldn’t give Reign up again. My only concern was if she’d stick by my side. That damn Bone had planted a seed of doubt in my head.

Would Reign be my ride-or-die chick?

Would she be my queen?

Only time would tell.

Storm’s tirade had been going on for… Hell, I didn’t know. Ten minutes. Maybe only five minutes, but it felt like a fucking long time.

The bottom line? I was going to kill my brother.

And Lady M and my father better not stand in my way. Or brothers and my sister. Once my hands were around Buff’s neck, I’d squeeze until his tattooed body went limp.

What the fuck was wrong with him? How could he not go back to check on the guy Storm wanted to be left alone? Why didn’t he call to ask me what I wanted him to do during the chase?

And because of Buff’s stupidity, Storm was ranting, and there wasn’t shit I could do about it.

“I had only one request. One fuckin’ request to leave Ro—” He stopped mid-word. Did he almost slip up and say the dude’s name? “They were to leave him out of it.”

“And how would you like them to do that when he was in the cage with Keg? Do you think they wanted to hurt him? I’ll tell you, cuz. They didn’t mean for him to get mixed up in this shit. He, the nameless kid, was in the car with Keg shooting at our men. Yours and mine.” Dammit, I wanted to know who this person was that had Storm bent out of shape.

What name started with Ro? Roy. Robby. Ron.

Storm growled, and I heard something shatter, like a glass hitting a wall or the floor. Since we were young, he broke shit when he got angry. I blamed his short fuse on his parents. They had fucked him up during his childhood. When I’d been around David and Kayla, I saw how they treated Storm. It made me appreciate my parents more. My folks were the best.

“If you know his name, I’m sure Grizzly will locate him. Maybe someone helped them.” I could only hope.

“Grizz and my brother-in-law are doing all they can to find him. So far, they’ve got nothing.”

“That could be a good sign. Like he walked away from the crash.”

“Yeah.”

As much as I wanted to ask Storm who the guy was and why he was so important, I knew better. Questioning Storm never went well. He would’ve given me all the details if he wanted me to know. I hated being in the dark.

“Well, I need to go. They should be arriving any minute. If you need anything, let me know.” This was my chance to end the call. Storm seemed calmer. I doubted he was, but what more could he possibly say? I didn’t want to find out.

“Yeah, same. Later.”
