One of his eyes pops open and when he sees that I’m being completely appropriate, he opens the other. A long exhale exits his mouth and then he wets his lips and casts his eyes to the door.

“We should go. Before I change my mind.”

“You sure?” I ask, because, you know, if he wanted to stay and mess around first, I think my dick would really appreciate that. It jumps a little in my pants in affirmation.

“Yes, Logan. Let’s go.”

Yeah, that’s a no then. Bummer.

I follow him out of the apartment with his duffle bag swinging over my shoulder.

“I can carry it,” Theo says frostily, but I ignore him.

“I know, but I have more muscles,” I tell him, and he narrows his eyes at me. But they don’t hold any resentment. He’s just faking it now. I’m wriggling my way into his heart…or under his skin, not sure which one. I don’t really care; I just want to get inside of him any way I can.

“Are you sure he won’t mind me showing up?” Theo asks, his wary eyes meeting mine as Ms. Chevelle makes her way down the street.

“I’m sure,” I reply in confidence because Iknowmy brother and he’s so fucking nice. He’ll be happy to meet someone new, and Finn will do whatever Landon wants. He never wants to make him unhappy. And Theo can be kind of…nice-ish…when he wants to be.

“Alright, but if this gets weird, I’m leaving,” Theo says, pressing his palm into his thigh, forcing it to stop moving. He has his pencil behind his ear. I saw him grab it before he left, along with his journal, which is currently shoved under his leg.

Damn, that shit is sotempting.

I roll my lips and tap my thumbs on the steering wheel. “Yeah, well, it might get a little weird, but not in the way you think,” I tease and Theo eyes me warily.

I still can’t believe he’s in this car with me. Part of me expects him to roll right out of the door and onto the highway. He’d be like D.B. Cooper, but without the parachute.

And the money. I don’t have that much on me.

I reach over and lock the doors, just to prevent any mishaps or sudden urges he may have. I’ve never had someone run away from me before and I’m not looking to start now.

“You locking me in? Do you spend your weekends kidnapping people?” Theo asks and I snort.

“Puhleeze. If I was kidnapping you, you’d be in my trunk. Tied up.”

He coughs a little and eyes me. “You’re a strange guy, Logan.”

I chuckle and then reach over and lightly punch his arm. “I mean, we’re all a little strange up in here. Right?”

“You are weirder than I imagined you’d be. I, however, am mostly normal.”

That has me wheezing because Theo is fucking whack. He has to know that.

His eyebrows slam together, and he glowers at me. “Why are you laughing at me?”

“Because,” I say, swiping at my eyes. “You told me that in order to get tutoring from you, I needed to fuck you.”

He clears his throat and glances out the window.

“That’s some messed up shit, Theo. Even you have to admit, that’s weird with a capital W.”

His leg starts bouncing again and suddenly, I feel bad for even bringing it up. I’m always walking on eggshells with this guy. They’re just crunching under my feet.

“Not that I’m complaining. I…you know, I kind of like doing it. It’s different than what I’m used to.”

He doesn’t reply. He just silently stares out his window. I, on the other hand, can’t stop blabbering and simpering. Someone, please stop me.

“If I really wasn’t into it, I would have told you. So don’t worry about that. I even bought a dildo….”
