Page 68 of Until Him

It’s fucking weird. I have to admit.

“Crazy, huh?” I say as we walk up an incline and our bodies lean down.

“Yeah,” he says, his eyes moving about the space. “This has to be some kind of visual illusion. I don’t think there is any science to verify this anomaly.”

I stare at his mouth moving and wonder what it would be like to kiss him in this place. Would it be any different?

“This has to be some kind of gravity hill. There’s no horizon outside so there is no frame of reference…” Theo continues, moving forward.

Blah, blah, blah. Don’t care, Theo. I care about that mouth of yours. I lean a little closer to him.

“The magic circle due to a meteor that the guide talked about has no basis in scientific reasoning…”

God,enough, I think, as I pull him into me and cup his cheek gently.

His breath stutters as his eyes slam into mine. All of his words trail off, probably pulled into outer space from all the weird alien stuff going on around here.

“What are you doing?” he whispers.

“Kissing you,” I say and then gently brush my lips against his, and damn, he tastes even better in here. It must be the magic circle shit that guy was talking about.

Theo leans into me and my arms wrap around his waist. He lets me kiss him for a few moments before he pulls away, his eyes wild and cheeks flushed.

“There are kids here,” he hisses, pulling the hood of his sweater over his head.

“So?”

He glances around the room. “Logan, you can’t just kiss me in public.”

My eyes narrow. “And why not?”

Theo tucks his face further into his hood.

He’s always hiding from me. I hate it. Theo shouldn’t hide from anyone.

“Are you ashamed of me?” I ask, feeling suddenly insecure. I’ve never felt this way, until Theo, and I don’t much like it.

“No, of course not. I just don’t go parading my sexuality in front of people I don’t know. No one wants to see two strangers making out anyway.”

I cock my head a little and just watch him. Sure the Mystery Spot is trippy, but has anyone met Theo Reign? He’s a right mindfuck.

“I think there are plenty of people that would pay good money to see us fucking,” I say, and Theo disappears right under the hood. I can’t even see his face anymore.

“Logan, stop it.”

“I’m guessing you’re not big on PDA, are you?”

“No, I’m not.”

I run a hand along my jaw and then poke him.

“Alright. I’ll keep my hands to myself, mostly. You are tempting though.”

“I am not.”

I roll my eyes and then grab onto the strings of his sweater and pull him a little closer.

“Yes. You fucking are.”
