His cock spurted its content deep inside. "Fuck, you're hot as hell."

With a final thrust, his erection waned inside me as I slipped into oblivion, a satisfied woman, drunk on Rush this time.

A noise jerked me awake.Someone was pounding on a door. "Rush," I whispered, shaking him lightly. I felt bad about waking him, but I doubted he would be happy to miss a sale.

"Hey," he said languidly. A smile brightened his handsome face. His eyes opened next, and they met mine as he tugged me toward him.

Another knock sounded.

"I think there's someone at the door of your shop," I said, touching his face.

"Shit." Rush jumped out of bed. He quickly put on his pants, shirt, and shoes. "We fell asleep," he said, leaning over and kissing me. "Feel free to clean up, and I'll meet you downstairs when you're ready. My loft is yours."

I glanced at the clock. It was a little after noon. "Sorry about that."

He was already at the door that led down to the shop, but he paused and shook his head. "Don't be. That was the best sleep of my life." He shot me a disarming smile and then vanished.

I smiled too. Rolled over so that I was on his pillow and took a deep breath. It smelled like him. I hugged it to me, enjoying the moment. Then rolled off the bed and handled the necessities in the bathroom. I had bedhead hair and quickly ran my fingers through it. Wiped some mascara off the under part of my eyes and reapplied some lip gloss. It took a minute to find my underwear, but I put it on as well as my bra and then got dressed. I drank some water from his refrigerator when I was decent before heading downstairs.

He was finishing with a client. Jotting down information. Asking questions and really listening to the answers. I paused, mesmerized by Rush. It was apparent he loved what he did. And I found that fascinating.

At the cash register, he took the man's card. Rang it up and then handed the man a receipt. Once the man had left, Rush glanced toward the stairs. And when he saw me, his face ignited with joy. He made me feel seen like nothing and no one else could.

My insides turned to mush. The man really did like me. Once again, I thought about telling him my secret. Sharing my diagnosis and the possibility of further cancer. But, as soon as I reached him, and he wrapped an arm around my shoulders, I changed my mind.

"The office is a mess," he said. "I went in this morning, for the first time in a few days, and it smelled like a skunk had curled up to die."

"Don't tease me, Mr. Norton," I said, wiggling my brows and resting one hand on his stomach.

He chuckled, hugging me to his chest. "Mr. Norton. I like that." The expression of relief that washed over his face made my stomach squeeze.

"Will I get extra favors if I continue to fuck the boss?"

He groaned against my ear. "You have me whipped, sweet Lux. I'll give you whatever you want."

Tingles of desire ran the length of my body. "Promises. Promises." It dawned a little slowly that he wanted me here. This wasn't strictly about business but rather about me. The knowledge made me all warm and fuzzy. "I like the sound of that."

We reached the office door, and he paused. "Ready? I sprayed some Lysol, but you still might need to hold your nose." He made a face like he could already smell the offending stench.

Feeling brave, I kissed his cheek. "I'm sure it can't be as bad as you say."

"It's worse. And the client will be here to pick up his bikes." He ran a hand over his face. "I hate to admit it, but I don't know where the invoices are." He rolled his shoulders back and opened the door.

The devastation that was his office could only be described as a paperwork mountain of hell. "Wow." I couldn't keep my expression neutral, my mouth wide, my eyes wider. "You weren't kidding."

"I know, right?" He rubbed at the back of his neck, which I was quickly learning was his uncomfortable tell. "Clint's a slob. I've always just let him run the business side of things while I focus on what I enjoy. Like the bikes, the mechanics, and getting them to work." He rubbed his neck again. "I'm slightly concerned he could be running the business to the ground, and I wouldn't know."

I patted his arm. "He wouldn't do that, would he? You guys are buddies, right?" I couldn't help but think I might be in over my head. At the next moment, I decided that wasn't true. I conquered cancer (mostly). I could dominate a filthy fucking office.

Rush smiled, a look of hope on his face. "Yeah, we are. I'm sure there's a system here somewhere."

I ignored the mess and turned to Rush. "Mind if I make a better system?"
