Chapter 17

Fox~

You would think that after fucking Kincaid all afternoon and into the night that my dick would be too raw to hunt her down, but this wasn’t about sex.

This was about my motherfucking sanity.

When Kincaid had followed me back to my place, I’d been surprised. I truly hadn’t expected her to obey my order like she had. Kincaid wasn’t one to be ordered around. However, there’d been no pretending how hard those orgasms that I’d given her had shaken her.

Once we’d gotten back to my place, it’d been nonstop sucking, licking, biting, bruising, and fucking. She’d been just as insatiable as I’d been, and it’d been violent enough to question it a bit. Still, I’d wanted more. I’d wanted to fuck her until my ball were dried up and couldn’t coat her anymore. I’d wanted to pass out with her next to me, just as spent as I’d felt. More importantly, though, I’d wanted to wake up with her in the morning. Out of everything, that had been the most important piece of the night.

However, instead of letting the sun intrude on our night together, I had reached over, felt cool bed sheets, then had stalked social media until I’d found which party she’d been at. Kincaid was popular enough that people liked to ride her social status coattails. They wanted to brag that they were at the same party as Kincaid Black.

Sometimes, it still amazed me how easily it was to find someone on the internet People were constantly posting pictures of people without their consent. They posted selfies with no regard to the fact that a person in the background might not want to be in the picture. No one cared. No one cared that some girl might be hiding from an abusive ex, but them posting that girl’s background profile all over their social media feed might lead him right to her. No one cared that some people truly weren’t into promoting themselves on social media. Still, that same inconsideration was what had helped me find Kincaid, so I couldn’t complain too much.

After Kincaid put me in my place, she turned around to face me. The girl wasn’t a coward, no matter who approached her. Kincaid was as destructive as lightning, but just as beautiful. However, trying to capture her was just as dangerous, too.

“Stalking me now?”

I almost rolled my eyes. “Do you know how many people have posted that they’re at a party with you?” My eyes scanned the gorgeous length of her. “Also, how you’re so cool that you don’t even need to wear a costume.”

She’s the one who rolled her eye at that. “People are stupid,” she replied simply.

“Why’d you leave my bed, Kincaid?” I didn’t want to talk about how stupid people could be. I already knew that.

“I had something to take care of,” she lied.

“Kincaid, I swear to God-”

“I went to go see Saxton,” she quickly clarified, and it was amazing how far that went to pushing back my irritation.

“Okay, I can give you that.” Her chin lifted in attitude because she wasn’t used to anyone speaking to her like she was owned. However, she was owned. She was owned by me. “That doesn’t explain what the fuck you’re doing here, though.”

“I still felt wired,” she admitted. “You were asleep, so after talking to Saxton, I came here.”

I stepped closer to her, looming over her. “And you couldn’t wake me the fuck up?”

“I’m not going to fight with you, Fox,” she replied. “Nothing that happened earlier changes the fact that I can still do whatever the fuck I want.”

I shook my head. “How wrong you are, baby,” I told her. “It changed everything.”

“Laney’s here,” she said, and my head reared back a bit at her quick change of subject.

“So?”

She shrugged. “My original plan was to beat the truth out of her, but maybe if she’s drunk enough, I won’t have to smack her around. Maybe she’ll just start talking.”

I straightened to my full height, then ran my hands down my face, laughing. Maybe I wasn’t as good in bed as I originally believed. After hours of fucking-in every position and every hole imaginable-this girl still had the energy to go around, picking fights. Kincaid should have been passed out from exhaustion beside me in bed, but instead, she’d had an entire conversation with Saxton, had showered and changed, then hit up a party.

Jesus Christ.

I grabbed her by her arm, then pulled her behind me, looking for a bit of privacy. When I finally found it near a huge tree in the back by a detached garage, I crowded her, making sure I had her covered. If we weren’t talking about her beating the crap out of a fellow Order supporter, I’d probably be fucking her up against the tree right now.

“The lecture that Alexander delivered about you girls getting along wasn’t just for the others, Kincaid,” I told her. “He was talking about you, too.”

She scoffed like I knew she would. “Like I give a fuck about Alexander.”

It was time to get real as unfortunate as that was. “Look, I know something is going on with you, Kincaid. I know there’s something that you’re not telling me. Things that you’ve never told me.” She was about to lie to me, so I slapped a hand over her mouth. “Does getting ousted like Jennifer Polk help you with whatever you’re up to? Not to mention that you’re Saxton’s supporter. He needs you.”
