“Colt, what are you doing?” I leaned my head back against the wall. “We can’t do this here.”

“We already are,” he said as he coated my throat in hungry kisses. “You want to know how much I love you?”

“Yes,” I whispered, and he held my face so he could see directly into my eyes.

“You said you’ve been tested, and you’re clear, right?”

“Yes,” I answered confused by the direction of his questioning.

“And you’re telling me the truth?” he asked.

“Yes, I wouldn’t lie to you about that.”

He kissed me softly and slipped his hand down to my ass to shift my panties. “Then let me show you how much I trust you.” He surged his hips forward and filled me. “I trust you with my life.”

A tear left my eye, and Colt kissed it tenderly away. He kissed me over and over as he made love to me up against the wall. For the first time in over six years, I was touching a person I loved as intimately as humanly possible and it had never made me feel more alive, or loved.

When Colt had taken us both over the edge and we were happily sated, he lowered my feet back to the ground and kissed my nose. “Do you believe me now?”

“Yes.”

Colt and I had cleaned up, and then I peered out the door to make sure no one was in the hallway. Unfortunately, Wendy and Stewart were right outside the door; standing with them was Whitney. At first, I froze, unsure what to do, but then I reached back and grabbed Colt’s hand, pulling him out the door with me.

Whitney’s mouth dropped open when she saw the two of us together. Stewart winked at us, and Wendy hid a smile behind her hand. I had no doubt that we both looked happily sated.

“Whitney, that’s it, isn’t it?” I said as I stopped in front of her. Colt let go of my hand and for a second I began to panic, but it dissipated immediately when he took that hand and wrapped it around my waist, pulling me back against him. I wasn’t sure if he was staking his claim or if he was trying to hold me back.

She ignored me, “Colt, what the hell are you doing with this tramp?”

“You need to learn when someone wants you and when they don’t,” I replied, and she glared at me.

“Whitney, I don’t ever want to hear you call my girlfriend a negative word again. Got it?”

She stared between the two of us, her mouth opening and closing without words coming out.

“Come on, sweetheart. Mom, Stewart, I believe we have a wedding to attend,” Colt began to pull me away but stopped and hit Whitney with a direct look, “and Whitney, you’re fired.”

Colt and I walked away with her hissing in the background, but Wendy’s laughter quickly drowned her out.
