Hugh leaned forward, staring at Corbin for a second.“What if you could have both?”
I blinked and then shifted to look at Corbin, who was watching me just as carefully as Hugh was.“What the hell are you talking about?”
“What if you could be mated to both of us?”
I laughed.“Oh, my god!Are you talking about a threesome mating?That’s insane!”
“Is it?”Corbin asked seriously.
“I’ve never heard of such a thing.Have you?”
“I have,” he replied with a grin.“I knew a woman who had two male mates.”
“You are making that up.It’s not possible.”
“It is.”
My heart rate picked up just the slightest at the possibility.“And how?”
“My understanding is that they did it on accident.She was partaking in sex with two males, and they were all sharing blood with one another when they came together.”
I looked at him, and I was pretty sure my mouth was hanging open at the interest on his face.I shifted to glance at Hugh and found him looking just as intrigued as Corbin.Were they nuts?
I sprang to my feet.“You don’t know that it would work, and besides, what if it screws up everything?What if it ruins my powers instead of making them stronger?”
“If that is the case, then one of us will mate with one of Portage’s other female reborns.But if it works, Lena, can you imagine how strong you might be?You might even be stronger than your sister with our combined power.”

I turned and glanced back at the men.They watched me carefully.Corbin smirked at Hugh.“She’s considering it.”
“Who says it will work?”
“Who says that it won’t?”Hugh retorted.
I put my hand up for a second.“Wait!Before we even consider this—before I even consider this, I need to ask you two something.”
They waited patiently as I stood behind my chair.“Would it not bother the two of you that I was sharing you?Mated men can be rather territorial.”
“Yes, but we would be territorial together with you,” Corbin said.
Hugh nodded.
“Have you two been thinking about this?Talking about this?”
Hugh laughed.“Yeah, we’ve discussed it a bit.”
“Whose idea was it?”
“Mine,” Corbin stated.“I knew you were fighting with the choice, and I thought this might make it easier for you.”
“Easier for me?”I laughed.“Not easier.You just gave me a whole different level of difficulty to consider.”
Hugh stood and approached me.“But Angelina, we both think that this is the best of both worlds.If it hurts your power, I will step out and mate to one of the other women.We already know your power with your coupling with Corbin.I don’t want to do anything to hurt that, but maybe this can help.”
“It didn’t hurt my friend any.Now she wasn’t a reborn, but she was strong as hell, and she garnered the ability to hide her presence.That wasn’t something she could do being mated to one of them.It was after she mated tobothof them,” Corbin explained.
