Fuck Magnus. Fuck him. My mate was beautiful, obscene perfection. If he couldn’t worship her the way she deserved—fuck him.

With every stroke of my cock, she tightened around me as her walls spasmed with the need for release. But I wasn’t ready yet.

She lifted her ass, rolling it in figure eights against me like she was trying to feel me against every inch of her. “I need to come …”

“No! You’re being punished, Aida. Take my cock like the hungry slut you are, and you’ll come when I tell you to.” My palm landed on her ass cheek so hard, it was like I was trying to brand her. My claws extracted once more, scratching the red mark, and she whimpered again.

My knot swelled as I pressed into her, forcing me to grab her hips and force myself into her one last time. With a moan, I spilled into her tightness.

“Fuck!” She gasped, starting to come again when she felt my ballooned knob in her. “What’s that?” She twisted, but her eyes lingered elsewhere, making me lose my concentration. Magnus stood at the door, watching us stoically through the crack.

“That’s my knot. It’s reserved only for my mate when I’m inside them.” I could’ve said “her,” but truthfully, seeing Magnus come to us like a moth to the flame reassured me he was interested too, even if he held himself back now. And knowing that, I intended to find a way to get my knot inside of him too.

“You’re stuck with me now.” I held Magnus’ gaze as I kissed between her shoulder blades.

MAGNUS

I turned awayfrom the door and walked to my office, my balls aching. This was a fucking disaster. I wanted nothing more than to walk into that room and join them in making her cry out like that. But my father’s words haunted my mind.

What would happen if I fucked her? Was I unlocking a millennia's worth of Gods to Earth for them to raze and claim it for their own?

Fuck.

I collapsed into the desk chair, pulling open my laptop to find a distraction instead of thinking of the cunt and cock I wanted in the other room. I’d had many lovers in my long life, but none had intoxicated me as quickly or made me as addicted as intensely as they did.

Vampires didn’t mate, but one look at the two of them standing at my door, and I was a goner. Anything else after this would be bland compared to how it could and would be with them. Her arousal hung heavy in the air, mixed with a tinge of blood left from whatever they had been up to before my arrival. I wanted to taste her desire and her life force. I wanted to feast on her flesh, but I couldn’t.

And I needed something to stop me from thinking about it.

I idly flicked through the correspondence waiting for me in my inbox. A pack was growing outside of Harrisburg, but no one knew how to get into it—likely protected by witch magic. More intel about what the demons in Chicago were up to. They weren’t concerned about the potential impending doomsday led by my kin. There were monsters in a small town turned by a potion gone wrong. I rolled my eyes; humans shouldn’t mess with things they didn’t understand.

But none was enough to distract my thoughts from drifting back down the hall. What were they doing? Would they come to me when they were finished? Should I tell them what the vampire council was up to? At the very least, I needed to tell her she was marrying me tonight.

I closed the email and leaned back in my chair, my head in a mess over my new houseguests. I’d never been this distracted in two thousand years. I twisted around to stare out the window while trying to devise a plan. Distance was best.

Apparently, not for him. The door drifted open as Talon stood there, watching me through the reflection. He hadn’t bothered to get dressed, either because his hound was making sure I knew he was the Alpha here or because he was looking to tempt me. Both worked.

“Talon.” I started to turn when Aida appeared at his side, wrapped in a bedsheet that stunk of their sex. “Aida.” I finished turning and rose, walking around the desk to meet them halfway.

“To what do I owe this pleasure? You both looked … busy … earlier.”

“I’m surprised you didn’t come join us,” Aida said, a strange look in her eyes. Disappointment? Relief? I couldn’t tell.

“Work.” I simply said before turning around to head to the small collection of drinks I had on the bookshelf. “Would either of you like a drink?” I didn’t wait for an answer as I poured helpings for each of us and then held them out to Talon and Aida.

“You were gone all night. Any news from the vampire council?” Talon stepped forward and took the drink from me, taking a slow sip.

“Only that the wedding is happening sooner than any of us thought. It would seem the council wants us married by sundown.”

“Sundown?” Aida looked surprised. “Any reason for that?”

“Consummation, it would seem.” I sipped the drink, then paused as I turned back to spike it with blood. A hand rested on my forearm, and I turned, looking down at Aida.

“Allow me.” She reached out, shifting her finger to a demonic claw, and slit her wrist, letting the blood pour into my glass. Her gaze held mine as she brought her wrist back to her mouth, licking the cut to force it to heal. I swirled the glass, mixing the blood with my vodka before bringing it to my lips and finally tasting her.

Unable to hold back a groan, I poured the whole thing down my throat, and for the first time in two millennia, I was finally alive again. I wanted more, especially knowing I needed to have restraint. Until I better understood this spell, my delicious little demon was off-limits—regretfully.

“We could consummate now if you want.” My eyes flicked to hers, and I let out a throaty laugh.
