"CEOs wear sweatshirts."

I laughed. "If a hot-shot executive is what he's expecting, then he got the wrong impression. And the girl in the book's last name is Wright."

"Her last name is Wright because they didn't know your last name. And you're a rockstar, Ari. The fact that you're not a CEO doesn't mean anything. Are you saying you can't be with him because of that?"

"I'm not saying I would be with him, anyway. It's just a book."

"Yeah, and Isaac doesn't need you to make a bunch of money. He has other stuff going on, investments and stuff. He doesn't have to be at that restaurant. That's what the book said. It's a family business, a passion. I bet he's rich."

"That's what I'm saying, the author also implied that I was rich."

"Either way, he's hot in real life, Ari. I can't believe that's the guy Willow was so mad about that day. He's such a cool guy. I sat there and watched him talk to about eighty people like he was the mayor of Seattle or something. He told me he liked my dimples. Isn't that nice?"

"I am physically shaking right now that you went to that restaurant. Did you tell him who you were? Did you talk about me?"

"No. No way. I hadn't talked to you. I didn't know how you would feel about the book."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, one, you have a boyfriend. You told me you had a boyfriend."

"I know. I don't know what to do."

"I'll tell you what to do. You leave whoever it is, and you come over here to Isaac Alexander as quickly as you can. He's like the world's coolest, hottest, most amazing dude. There's no way your current boyfriend is as good as him."

"Yeah, but how do I know if… how do I know that he'd want to see me?"

"Uhh, he wrote a whole book about you, Ari."

"He didn't write it, and more than half of that story was fictional. There was a part where I almost got kidnapped by a stalker ex-boyfriend."

"I know. I'm glad it's not an entirely true story in that case. And that was just to make it a more exciting story. They have to spice it up."

"My head is spinning right now. Should I feel worried about it? Is it a weird way to start a relationship that could actually last?"

"Do you feel like it is?" she asked. "Because all you have to do is not talk to him. He has no idea where you really are."

"N-no, it's not like that. I'm not freaked out or anything. I was just wondering if you thought it was weird."

"Yes, it's weird. It's super weird. It's weird in that it doesn't happen every day. How often do you have an encounter with a stranger and then there's a book written about it?"

"Almost never," I said dryly.

"Never. So, in that case, yes, it's weird. But it's also gut-wrenchingly romantic, Ari. I saw that guy, and he didn't seem like a creep at all. I mean, if he's a creep, then he's a really good actor. I watched him interact with a blind lady who needed help with the menu. I will seriously try to marry that guy if you don't."

"What do I do? I’m not going to just call them up and sayhey I'm Ari." I said.

"Why can't you do that? Only you know what you need to do. What's your heart telling you? Ignore it, or go for it?"

"What doesgo for itmean? Is Eddie going to stalk me, like the book?"

"Is that a serious question? Is your boyfriend's name Eddie?"

"Yes, and no. Yes, Eddie is his name. No, I don't think he would stalk me. But breaking up with Eddie could be bad for my job situation since he's my boss's son. I've been working there for four years."

"How have you been there for four years and you're just now dating the boss's son?"

"He's been away. He used to live in Nashville. I met him years ago, but we didn't see much of each other. He just came back to Atlanta this summer."
