Isaac wiped his face as he thought. His movements were masculine, and I felt the urge to get closer to him. I snuggled in close, and he squeezed me.

"I need to go by the restaurant. I don't have to stay long, but we could plan on doing either breakfast or lunch over there."

"Okay, good. There's a shirt I regretted not buying at Claire's store. I didn't think I'd be able to go by there again before my flight."

Isaac moved, engulfing me in his embrace. His big leg came out of the covers and clamped around me, and I giggled. "Don't gooooo baaaack," he moaned, stretching and squeezing me. He pulled me in and kissed me twice—once on the cheek and once on my neck. I leaned up, giving him access.

Isaac moved slowly and barely touched me, but I could feel the warmth of his breath next to my neck. I smiled when he let his lips touch my cheek. He wasn't kissing me—he was simply letting his mouth touch my face. And my heart was about to explode.

"When can you come back for good?" he asked.

"Are you just saying that because you'll miss me, or are you really asking?"

"I'll miss you and I'm really asking. What's the difference?"

I propped myself up next to him. He didn't have on a shirt and the covers were down far enough that I could see the top of his chest. I was smitten and I smiled and bit my lip at him.

"What I'm saying is that if you're just asking if I'll theoretically move here sometime, then the answer isyes, and also if you're asking me to set a time and say I'm officially coming here, then the answer isyesfor that, too."

He sat up like he was excited. The movement caused me to laugh a little and I peered up at him from his new spot, hovering above me.

"When can you come?" he asked.

"Well, I'm all tied in with classes, and recitals are in May. So, after that, I guess."

"That doesn't feel soon enough," he said.

My hand rested on the upper part of his chest. "I know," I replied. "I've known Kathy for years, though. She's done a lot for me, and I hate to leave her on such short notice and just never see her again." I couldn’t believe I was even saying any of this. My heart was pounding.

"I understand," he said, nodding. "I want you to stay here right now and never go back, but I understand that you can't or shouldn't just leave them hanging."

"Do you think that means I don't love you? Because I'll leave them."

"No, I understand it's all really sudden. You need to have time in Georgia to tie things up. I love you for that."

"What about if you come to me?" I asked, touching the little divot at the base of his neck. "You can live in Atlanta for a few months and then we can come back here together."

"Yes," he said, seriously.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Just like that?"

He nodded. "That's a perfect idea. I'll make arrangements and set myself up to go to Atlanta until May. Everybody at the restaurant will chip in to help me with something like that. My grandma will even pick up some more shifts. I've been working there nonstop since I can remember. I've never taken off and done something new for a few months. I'll come check out Georgia with you until May."

I couldn't help it. There was nothing I could do to stop the tears. I cried. Hot, wet tears rose to my eyes and overflowed. They rolled down my cheeks.

"Aw, baby, aw, Ari. Are you okay?"

I nodded, my face moving in his hand. I wiped my cheek. "I'm happy."

"Aww," he moaned as he moved toward me leaning in to kiss me.

"Would you really come to Georgia?" I asked when he pulled back.

"Yes, Ari. Yes. I wouldlivein Georgia if you couldn't leave. I'll go where you are."
