“Wow, man. You’re really doing it, huh?” Colby asks me over FaceTime. I’ve spent the day packing up my room, figuring out what I want to take and what I don’t.
Yesterday, I worked on both Lo’s and my cars, making sure they are running well for the cross-country trip. It’s a lot of miles, but we should be good to go with fresh oil changes and tune-ups.
Tonight, Mason and Madison arrive at the airport, and we rented an Airbnb to spend the night in before we head out in the morning.
“You didn’t think I’d follow through?”
“I don’t know, man. When you told Carter and me a few days ago, I wasn’t sure you’d actually go through with it. Damn. You really do love that chick.”
“Yup. If this doesn’t prove it, I don’t know what does. We’re all suckers for love. Don’t play.”
“What the fuck are you talking about, bro? There’s no love over here going on.”
“Yeah, okay. There’s more going on than just sex with Cat.”
“Nah, it’s definitely just sex.”
“Keep telling yourself that, man. I used to do the same shit.”
Colby makes a face into the camera just as the door behind him opens, and Cat walks in.Busted!
“Oh, is that Cat I see?” I tease, and Colby yells bye as I hear Cat yell out in the background. “Love my girl good, Ty!” And then the phone clicks off.
He thinks he’s slick, but I see how he looks at her. The same way I look at my beautiful girl. Like right now, as she walks into my room.
“Hi,” she says, and my heart jumps into overdrive.
I stop packing and sit on my bed, holding my arms out to her. “Hey, beautiful. C’mere.”
She walks over and climbs into my lap. I breathe in her scent before dragging my lips across her hot skin. I find her mouth and kiss her softly. “I missed you,” I whisper.
“Mmm, me too. Looks like you got a lot done.” Her eyes scan the room.
“Yeah, I’m almost done. Just a few things left.”
Lo wraps her arms around my neck and kisses the tip of my nose. “I’m so excited.”
I kiss her in response, slipping my tongue inside and tasting her.
She breaks the kiss with her cute giggles. “I take it you’re excited, too.”
“Hope Madison likes alone time. I plan on holding you hostage in my bed.”
“You do? And what do you plan on doing with me?”
I nip at her neck and then lick the same spot. I feel her shiver against me, and my dick thickens.
I know she feels it from the way she moves her hips. A groan rumbles low in my throat. But we don’t have time. We need to leave soon if we’re going to make it to the airport on time.
I lift her off my lap and place her on her feet. Then I stand. “No time for that if we plan on picking up our friends on time.”
Lo pouts, her bottom lip sticking out, but only for a second before she’s smiling again. “I know, I know. Alright, what’s left to pack?”
