“You mother fucker, you’ll never get away with this.”

I chuckle, “Oh, believe me, I will. Who do you think runs this town?”

“Not for long, there is a team ready and waiting for you to fuck up, watching your every move. It’s only a matter of time before they get you.”

“They’ll be waiting a long fucking time for that because it’ll be over my dead body, they get anything outta me. I keep my shit locked down tight. Why do you think you’ve never found shit during any of your raids?”

He gulps and starts struggling.

“They won’t even find your body, all they’ll know is that you took off, humiliated.”

I grab a knife and brandish it over a strap to sharpen it. Dull knives are fun, but I intend to make this man suffer, and dull knives tend to cause my victims to pass out.

“Now you’re gonna give me names, everyone associated with you, that wants to take me out.”

“Never.” With that word I slam my knife into his leg and yank it roughly out. He screams like a little bitch.

“I know you won’t talk, but I figured if you did, I’d just kill you quicker. This way I get to play.” I grin at him, as blood sprays out of his leg, some of it hitting me in the face.

I go to slice a part of him off that he probably loves when he pisses himself, getting some on my hand. Fucking nasty. I go to the sink and wash up then go back to him. “It’s the mayor!” He finally squeals out as I press my knife to his cock.

I smile, that’s all I needed to know. I knew that fucker had it out for me, but he always seemed too chicken-shit to come to me himself.

With those words, this cop just earned himself an easy death. I pull back his neck and slice. Blood sprays everywhere as he dies.

I head out of the shed and get to Gunner. “Clean-up needed in the shed, want his body decomposed, as in, no one ever finds it.” He gets my meaning and takes off with a few brothers to clean up my shed.

Time to go home and work on winning Justine back.

Chapter Fifty-four

Justine

After Carson left,I dove into writing, I’m not sure why but what I experienced has given me a great idea for a new book. This time, I can’t list it in Romance because I’m not giving the couple a happily ever after. I literally spent the last nine hours just writing, and I can’t believe how far I’ve gotten, this book is basically writing itself.

I’m interrupted when my doorbell goes off and my dad steps inside. “Hey, dad,” I say quietly, wondering if he got the news about Eileen.
