Then I see the parking lot.

And I see Seth’s car.

“Fucking asshole,” I mutter.

He’s really sleeping here tonight.

Sleeping in his car.

I start to move faster, hurrying toward his car.

When I get there, I look in the back seat and there’s Seth.

Just hanging out on his phone.

I knock on the window and he looks at me and smiles.

He leans forward and unlocks the door.

I open it and climb into the backseat.

The car is warmer than outside.

Seth stares at me with that smirk.

“What?” I ask.

“This isn’t the first time we’ve been in the backseat of this car, Jaci,” he says.

I roll my eyes.

He sniffs the air. “I can smell the desire pouring off you. You really get wet for those two mafia pricks, huh?”

“Do you know what you’re up against, Seth?” I ask.

“You keep worrying about me, Jaci. It’s making me think you like me. It’s making me want to stick around. It’s making me want to make a move…”

Seth leans closer to me.

My teeth chatter as my body is still damn cold.

“I know what I’m doing,” Seth whispers.

“You have some kind of plan here?” I ask.

“Maybe I do.”

“And kidnapping me was part of it?”

“You’re safe, Jaci,” he says. “You were never in any real danger.”

“Seth,” I say.

Before I can say anything else, Seth nods.

I turn my head, look out the window, and I gasp.

It’s snowing.
