“Okay. You gotta trust me completely and submit. Don’t fight me, otherwise, you can drown me too. Is that what you want?” My head shook. “Then let me have control.”

I nodded, nibbling my bottom lip. Slowly, he walked me away from the edge of the pool, telling me to keep my eyes on him. The further we got, the higher up the water felt.

“Don’t take me to six feet.”

“I got you, Tink. Just relax.”

Nodding, I gripped his arms a little tighter. By the time we made it to the five feet section, my anxiety started to get the best of me. Hosea sensed it. As soon as my heels lifted off the floor, I felt myself about to panic. I lifted my arms to his neck and hugged it.

“You trust me?” he confirmed.

“Yes.” Hosea wrapped my legs around him, smiling when I squealed. “Hosea, don’t drop me.”

As we continued to move, my heart rate increased even more. I was trying my hardest to trust him, but that was proving to be more difficult than I thought it would be. I knew he wouldn’t let anything happen to me, but still. Releasing control after maintaining it for so long was easier said than done.

“Hosea,” I called before inhaling a deep breath. “Don’t let me drown.”

“How are you going to drown in three feet of water? Just put your feet down.”

I put my feet down before releasing a quiet, “Oh,” and everyone laughed.

“I thought you said you trusted me?”

“I do, but…”

“I just walked you around this whole pool and you didn’t even realize it because you were anxious. I told you I’m not going to let anything happen to you, Tink.”

“This isn’t making you want to be my Dom either, is it?”

Hosea laughed. “Not at all, beautiful.”

“Okay. Let’s try again.”

His expression softened. “Are you sure?”

I inhaled a deep breath. My eyes lifted to the sun as it began to set, and my heart felt a wink from God. Sunrises and sunsets were always my most peaceful moments.

“Yes, I’m sure.”

“Okay. Wrap your arms around me.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck, and Hosea slowly walked me across the pool. The whole time, I kept my eyes on his. Every once in a while, we’d smile or chuckle. Once, I got a kiss on the nose that melted my heart and my pussy. After we did a few laps in the three and four feet, we went back to five. This time, when he lifted me and wrapped my legs around him, I felt more at ease. Could have been because this was the second time or the fact that I was mindful of my need to surrender to him and this moment. Either way, I was at peace.

We made it to six feet, and I was so caught up in him, I hadn’t even noticed until he pointed it out.

“How does it feel to not have to worry?” he asked, pressing me against the edge of the pool. “To be able to release that control and trust me.”

Lifting my eyes to the sky, I smiled. “It feels really good.”

“Yeah?”

My eyes returned to his as I licked my lips. “Yeah.”

He pulled me off the edge, slowly spinning me in a small circle. Resting my forehead on his, I inhaled a deep breath and caressed his back. His lips were on my neck as he squeezed my ass.

“You’ve never looked more beautiful than you do right now,” Hosea complimented.

Cupping his cheeks, I resisted the urge to kiss him—though I wanted to—really, really badly.
