But I was worried. The more this grew inside me, the more I could feel myself slipping away. It was becoming harder and harder to hold on. Still, I had to do something… or there might not be anything left of the God Realm for me to live in alongside my mates.

I was absolutely terrified. But I'd never been a coward, and I wasn’t about to become one now.

"If we're taking a trip, we’ll need to prepare," I said, looking from Rumir and Lucian. They both nodded.

“You have an hour, and then I'll teleport you all," Hekate said. She raised her hands, and black smoke began to swirl around our bodies—hers, Lucian’s, Rumir’s, and mine.

“Good luck, Enchanted,” Heldon said, as the smoke climbed up my body.

“You’re going to need it,” Zeus grumbled. Then, to my surprise, the side of his mouth curved ever so slightly in a smile, and his usually snarky expression softened. “Good luck, child. Do your best."
