With a groan, I forced my eyes open, noticing the sun was up. Kai sat beside me, both of us still naked except for the thick blanket that was draped over both our bodies. I didn't remember having it when we fell asleep, which meant someone must've given it to us last night.

Kai let out a huff of breath when he realized I was awake. "Oh, thank Mother Moon, I thought something was wrong."

"Why?" I asked.

"I've been trying to wake you for three minutes, but you wouldn't budge. I was just about to call for help when you finally began to stir."

"Oh," I croaked, running my hands over my face and hair. "Sorry, I had the strangest dream last night."

"What about?" Kai asked.

I frowned, trying to remember what I dreamed about as my brain was still foggy with sleep. I remembered thinking back to Atropos' vision, then... it hit me suddenly. The legend, Selene, her men, those wolf silhouettes, it all came back to me. I shot up to my feet in a haste.

"Rosie, what's up?" Kai asked as he stood up, his body tense with worry.

"We have to get dressed and talk to the others. I know what we need to do," I said, already scrambling to get my clothes back on. Kai followed suit, still curious what I was on about, but he'd know soon enough. I marched back to the campsite with purpose. Kao was sitting near the fire with Javier, Del, Raph, and Malcolm. Caleb and Nash must've been patrolling, but we'd be able to bring them up to speed later.

"Del," I called to my best friend.

She looked up from what she was reading on her iPad. Noticing the hard expression on my face, she stood up and met me halfway. "What is it? What happened?"

I looked behind me to face Kai, then to his twin, my brother, and the rest of his pack before regarding Del. "I've made my decision on what we should do."

"Oh?" Del arched an eyebrow. "Enlighten me then, what have you decided?"

I shook my head as I said, "We're not going to the Blue Moon Pack."

"Why?" Del asked.

There was a lot of ways I could answer that, but I figured the best way to start would be to come clean about a revelation I'd been keeping to myself for a while. "Because you'll die," I simply state.

Del reeled back in shock, but before she could say anything, I looked back at everyone and continued with, "Everyone here will die, and so will Joaquin, Grandma, and possibly both our packs."

"Rosa, what are you talking about?" Javier asked, rising to his feet.

"I saw it in a vision. A future where everyone dies by some kind of wolf beast that has the Wolf Moon's gift or something like it."

"And you said you saw this future in a vision?" Del asked, sounding unconvinced.

I nodded.

I felt Kai reach out to rest to grip my arm from behind, gently turning me to face him. "How do you know this vision is real? Was this what you were dreaming about last night?"

"I thought about it last night, yes, but I first saw the vision on our first night here. And I know it has to be real, because Atropos showed it to me."

At the sound of Atropos' name, everyone was now standing and looking at me like I'd suddenly sprout wings and a beak. I knew it sounded crazy, and if it hadn't happened to me, I wouldn't have believed it myself, but the situation was too dire for me to lie about it or to keep it to myself. If it was a future that the fates predicted, then we needed to make sure it wouldn't come true. I had a feeling that the best way to assure our demise would never come to fruition would be to stand and fight. That was what I gathered from Selene.

"Atropos, as in one of the three Sisters of Fate?" Raph asked, seeking clarification.

"Yes," I said. "She found me the night we first set up camp and showed me a vision she declared was my future if I continued to defy Fate."

"This is unbelievable." Del sighed, crossing her arms and looking too tired for early daytime.

I threw my hands up in frustration. "Look, I have no reason to make this shit up, okay? I'm telling you guys the truth. I saw everyone at this camp on the ground, dead as a fucking doornail. You guys were ripped open, torn to shreds, and laying in your own puddles of blood. The entire rose field back in Kingsrose were littered with dead bodies."

"Nobody's saying they don't believe you," Javier assured me. "Maybe if you start from the beginning and tell us what happened, we can figure out what are next move should be."

I allowed Kai to take my hand and guide me back to the campfire and took a seat with everyone's eyes trained on me. I hope we'd be able to devise a new plan, because while I knew we needed to fight, I wasn't sure how we could win. There was only so much Javier and his pack could do for us, but first, they needed to know everything. So, I took a deep breath, let it out slowly, and told them what everything I'd been shown so far.
