I told everyone everything. The vision I had from Atropos, what she told me, and last night's vision with Selene and her men. By the time I was done, I felt dizzy. So much had transpired in the last couple of days and mental fatigue was starting to catch up with me. I leaned forward, huffing out a breath while Kai rubbed circles along my arched back. Kao, for this part, reached out to grip my knee. While having the twins was great, Joaquin's absence was becoming harder to endure with each passing day that he wasn't with us. My wolf's impatience was steadily growing, which had me worried about how much longer I could hold her back before the need to shift would be too overwhelming.

Finding a way to save Joaquin needed to be one of our top priorities. Not just because I was worried about him, but because my wolf's agitation was becoming too dangerous. Especially considering we'd been camping for days, and we hadn't run into any problems yet. I half expected Pierce to send wolves after us by now, unless he was banking on the fact that he knew my wolf would force her will to the surface and run back to Kingsrose for our missing mate.

Pierce was a tyrant but he wasn't stupid. I already knew he was waiting for me to come back, and likely had guards watching out for me. No doubt he had a trap set for me, which would also make rescuing him that much harder. So much to do and barely any time to do it all.

Nobody said a word after I was done talking. I guessed that everyone was still trying to piece it all together in their heads before reacting.

Kao was the first one to break the silence. "So, we're fucked."

WhenI looked up at him with narrowed eyes, he shrugged. "What? You said we're all going to die, so we really are fucked."

"Not helping," Kai snapped.

"Seriously," Raph agreed. "Rosie was able to see a future, but it's not written in stone. Even Atropos said if Rosie can tap into the Wolf Moon's gift that she may be able to prevent it from happening. Right, Rosie?"

"That's what she told me," I said.

"So, then there's still a chance," Malcolm spoke up. "But that leaves us back to where we first started. How do we find a way to tap into the Wolf Moon's gift?"

"You never really saw what the gift does in Selene's vision, did you?" Javier asked me.

I shrugged. "Not exactly. There was so much light that it was hard to see. What I could see was what looked to have been human-like wolves."

"Werewolves," Del concluded. "Half-man, half-wolves. That might be why my father added those passages about Werewolf tales in his reports about the Wolf Moon legend."

"Wait, so you're saying that the Wolf Moon's gift that Pierce wants so badly just turns us into werewolves?" Kao scrunched his nose with a pout. "Kind of anticlimactic, if you ask me. I was expecting something cooler."

Javier eyes him. "How many wolf shifters do you know that have three different forms they can turn into?"

"Not to mention that this werewolf form might have far more strength than our basic wolf forms," Raph said.

It’s a power that not even the magic my sisters and I possess can penetrate. It’s a blessing from the moon. It’s an essence of Selene herself. Most of all, it unlocks the true potential of a wolf shifter.

Atropos' words from her vision rang in my head. The true potential of a wolf shifter, meaning this was what wolf shifters were meant to be all along?

"There's a chance you two might have the same immunity to influences once we figure out how you guys can turn into werewolves," I hypothesized, directing it to my twins.

"We don't even understand the full extent of your immunity," Del pointed out. "Does it only work on an alpha's influence and the fated mate bond? Or does it work on all forms of influences?"

"I hope so," Kai muttered to himself so softly that I almost missed it.

Kao must've also picked up on it because he gently nudged his brother's arm. Kai stiffened and cleared his throat. What did he mean by he hoped so?

Deciding to wait until we had some alone time to talk about it, I brought up another topic from Selene's dream that was bugging me. "What about this thing that Selene mentioned? The curse of the New Moon. Anything in your father's reports on it, Del?"

Del pulled out her iPad, spending two minutes reading all the notes she obtained from her father before looking back up with a frown. "Nothing here. There are mentions of other full moons along with names of people who were born during those times, but nothing about a New Moon."

"Other full moons?" I arched an eyebrow.

"Every full moon has a special name to them," Kai spoke up. "Much like the Wolf Moon being the first full moon of the year."

Del nodded. "Kai's right, and apparently the Wolf Moon isn't the only one with legends surrounding it."

The declaration had everybody straighten their posture in surprise. I was the first to speak. "What do you mean?"

"It was something I picked up on last night after the boys went to bed. Apparently, there's more than one full moon that can grant one lucky person that was born under it a unique trait. Not all of them have been revealed, but so far there's documentation of three others who areMoon Chosen, as my father eloquently put it. Not including you, Rosie."
